Among other things, DP code can't run on Macs or iPads, doesn't use MipMaps for rendering, & uses an entirely different type of memory management because unlike Affinity it must load the entire file into memory.
I believe DrawPlus does actually use MipMaps for rendering, but the other differences you mention are hugely important.

You earned the gold medal for (probably) answering the question which stayed unanswered for the longest time ever.
I wonder whether the OP — who last visited these forums more than five years ago — will ever see the answer!
I note that @MBP2017 became a member in 2015, which makes me curious about where the 2017 in the username came from.

There’s no need to share the document. Your screenshot shows that you’ve hidden that layer, presumably by accident. Tap on the visibility control to unhide it.

Yes, I had "beziehungsweise" in mind, and yes, in the meaning of "and" or "or" or "and/or" while I used it to substitute or avoid confusion possibly caused by a combination of ors.
“Respectively”, as normally used in English, means “individually and in the order already mentioned”; e.g. “Giants and dwarves are large and small, respectively.”
36 minutes ago, thomaso said:So, what do you recommend to use instead of "respectively" if it is not just meaning "to be more precise" but rather to add alternative(s) that can either include or exclude another?
Your example of “and/or” covers exactly that situation.

The first obvious question would be, what printer are you printing to and does your printer support edge-to-edge printing as not all printers do?
Furthermore, even if your printer does support ‘borderless’ printing you may need to configure it specifically to do so.

Unclipped, the canvas is 25605 x 39065
If printed at 400ppi, the output would be 64 x 97.7 inches (or more than 5 x 8 feet). No one is going to view something of that size from less than several feet away, so the pixel dimensions are massively bigger than they need to be for any practical purposes.

Why do i have a strange monitor setup if i may ask?
I’m not Garry (obviously!) but your “full screen” screenshot is much wider than it is tall, and there are no window buttons (Minimize, Maximize/Restore, and Close) visible in the top right-hand corner.

Why do you need lines, and why do you want to print via Inkscape? You may be able to print directly from Affinity Designer if your printer driver offers a tiling option.

‘Convert to Curves’ will give you curves that you can edit with the Node Tool (but the text will no longer be editable as text).

I have a Publisher book project question and am not sure where to post it. Can you point me in the right direction?
All ‘Affinity on Desktop’ questions go here:

Press the blue ‘Start new topic’ button, or use the link that I’ve incorporated into this sentence.

On the first “Like that” you see the edges of the letters are curvy. Not squares like in the second one.
If you don’t need to keep the text as editable text, you can ‘Convert to Curves’ and then select the curves with the Node Tool and change all of the nodes to ‘Smooth’ (so that any ‘Sharp’ nodes are no longer sharp).

Q2) Where is Typeface?
1 hour ago, walt.farrell said:It's another term for Font.
Typeface is another term for Font Family; i.e. a collection of fonts which are variations (thin, regular, bold, heavy, italic, bold italic, etc) on the basic design. -

Gary Priester - I have been a Xara user since 1996 and I created content for Xara's XaraXone for 15 years.
Welcome, Gary! You probably know Affinity Designer’s lead developer @MattP (Matt Priestley) from his time at Xara a couple of decades ago.

What I mean automatically means I select all the characters on an area then modify them at once.
Automatically means that the modifications take place without any further action from you. The word that you’re looking for is simultaneously.
18 minutes ago, Mainecoon364 said:Question 1) How to make the distance bigger between the letters automatically?
Select the text and increase the tracking value.
20 minutes ago, Mainecoon364 said:Question 2) How to make the letters thinner automatically?
You could try playing around with stroke properties, but you’re likely to get better results by using a typeface that includes a Thin style.
23 minutes ago, Mainecoon364 said:Question 3) How to make the letters more curvier automatically? (Or make It has curvy edges)
Curvy (or more curvy) is very subjective! Can you post an example?
24 minutes ago, Mainecoon364 said:Question 4) What are other automatic modifications?
You can use the ‘Transform each’ feature to do things such as rotating multiple characters simultaneously.

Importing from Affinity Designer to Affinity Publisher?
in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

As long as you’re not using an old version of Publisher, there’s no need copy/paste or export/import anything. The file format shared by all apps in the Affinity suite means that you can simply open your *.afdesign file in APub.
