What font are you using, David? It looks as though there are some unusual (discretionary?) ligatures in there.

I don’t think I’ve ever initiated a screen recording via the Settings app! I just swipe down from the top right-hand corner of the screen to display the Control Centre, and then tap on the Screen Recording icon there.

Sorry, William, I lost track of this thread! Please try Lee’s suggestion. I presume that the “footer bar” to which you refer is commonly known as the “taskbar”. You can set it to autohide on Windows 10 (so that it slides out of view until you mouse over the bottom edge of the screen); I imagine the same applies to Windows 11.

In AD2 on iPad they’re accessed via the Edit menu:

Are you referring to the white line cutting through the J, the S and the U? What is the thin vertical stroke below and to the right of the S? What other objects do you have on the page?

What was the something else, and how did you solve the problem?

If you click them into position they should be placed at their native resolution, but if you drag them out to anything larger than their native dimensions you’ll spread the original pixels over a larger area and the resolution will decrease.

Are you referring to the ‘Transparent Canvas’ option, or something else?

You can create a custom activity stream to cater for that scenario: 1. Go to ‘Activity > My Activity Streams’. 2. Press the ‘Create New Stream’ button. 3. Type something meaningful into the Stream Title box. 4. Change the Read Status setting to ‘Content I haven’t read’. 5. Change the Following setting to ‘Only content I follow’. 6. Press ‘Save Changes’ (near the bottom of the page). Your chosen stream title will now appear under Custom Streams in the ‘My Activity Streams’ menu.

‘Vectoriser le contour’ works as expected for me in AD2 on iPad, but the text in the French menus is tiny!

Those files are only in the application sandbox. They can be retained if you offload the app, but if you delete the app the entire sandbox area will be cleared out and any files only stored there will be deleted permanently.

It’s no longer available to buy, but if you visit the Purchased section in the iPad App Store (by tapping on your avatar and then tapping on ‘Purchased’ in the Account dialog that pops up) you should see it listed there.

You’re reporting a bug in Designer v1 on iPad, so the ‘Designer V1 Bugs on iPad’ section is exactly the right place! Designer v2 is an upgrade, not an update, so it’s a separate purchase. Version 1 will continue to function, so there’s no need to upgrade if you don’t want to do so.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @No more Illustrator graphs. This sounds more like a Publisher thing, but we can always hope! Have you tried copying a graph from Excel or Numbers and pasting it into an Affinity document?

One consequence is that editing could be marginally more complicated. Suppose, for example, that you had intended to type “fury” but accidentally hit the i key instead of the u key; an automatic fi ligature in the typed text would mean that you’d have to correct “fi” to “fu” instead of simply replacing one letter.

Sorry, I suppose I must have been thinking of the options available when printing a PDF file. You can apply a scale factor at that point.

If you’re outputting to PDF you can simply scale the whole thing up by a factor of 141% on export.
