View>Studio>Reset Studio fixed the issue. Thanks!!! I'll try teaching myself how to watermark again and pay attention this time to see how this happened. Thanks, guys!

No, that just toggles Affinity to take up the entire screen - that's for all Mac programs. What I need to know is how to reduce the size of what I'm calling the work area within Affinity - I'm sure I'm not identifying the area correctly. I can no longer see the icons at the top of where you work within Affinity.

R C-R - No, the problem was different. It had nothing to do with the Mac OS menu bar. I solved it by following the suggestion of another person to go to View > Studio > Reset Studio. That did the trick. Thanks for your comment, though.
