Apologies for ramble - I hate Apple upgrades. Had updated to IOS13.2 this morning and photos had decided to tuck those recently deleted photos into the "recent" album - didn't even know it existed - and have just manually deleted yet again and Affinity is happy again

Thank MEB all those are done s you can see in the pic, you can see in the layers studio that the white is not showing up and it just doesn’t do anything.

Sorry for the confusion. We are in the process of rolling out a 1.6.9 update for Affinity Photo for iPad and the tutorials are just a little bit ahead of the software.
We have pressed release on the iPad store but I think they are all a little busy selling new phones to roll out our update
The undo and redo buttons are available as an option in preferences, but you may prefer to use the new gestures instead

Sneaky, no beta, hope it works, look under preferences I expect to turn the undo, redo icons on.

To rotate an image, in the Photo persona, click the second icon at the top left (Sheet of paper with corner turned over and 3 dots inside) and select orientation > rotate.
