  1. My design school told me we are free to use whatever software we want. Will Affinity be a good choice?School starts in september and I want to learn everything about Affinity in the meantime.Already got the Affinity Designer Workbook and I'm really enjoying it.I do know/knew the basics of photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign, but think I’ve become really rusty with them and I honestly don’t want to return to them. They feel old, chunky, slow and filled with bloat.I know that Adobe is the industry standard, but I want to use the right tools that I think are right for me. I wish I could join the Affinity movement, but it feels like I have no choice then to teach myself Adobe.Advice?
