Affinity Photo Will Not Open

I've just installed Infinity Photo on a new Imac 21.5 inch 4K and it will not open. It opened TWICE but very slowly and now will not open at all.

My refine tool doesn't work. Neither does it appear on the menu line above. And my straighten tool doesn't work.

Nikon D800 Compatibility

I have just downloaded and installed Affinity. I am using a MacBook Pro with High Sierra. Now I discover that my D800 is not compatible with this software. Is this possible? The camera has been out for at least seven years but the raw processor in affinity is not compatible. Can somebody verify if this is true? Otherwise I'll ask for my money back.
