Thank you firstdefence and MEB. The \ worked and I was able to get the image to appear and I made sure the layers are visible and unlocked. Attached image - The image on the white background is my image but I am not able to select anything. However when I used the select tool I discovered my image repeated but it is invisible unless I have it selected which makes it difficult to make changes to, I hope that makes sense. My apologies for my newbieness but if you have any further suggestions it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again for your time!!

Hi there, I am an absolute newbie to Affinity. I am trying to open an Illustrator file in Affinity, however, it opens far in the left side and I cannot select any of the image to move it to the center or adjust any of the elements. Please see attached image. Is there a special process I need to use to open my old Illustrator files? I bought this program so I could access and update my old Illustrator files so hoping there is some way I can open the old files in Affinity! Thank you!
