I often design seamless patterns and would like a way to test if I did it correct. In illustrator I tested this by fill a large square with my pattern.

This is a old thread but I found that the way to do this are to put the same content on all artboards. But then the layer function for the exported pdf dont work as I want. So for now I have to stick with illustrator :-(

If your patterns are vector then you will have to wait until we have written that feature.
If you don't want to mirror then just use a different extend type.
