Trouble opening Nikon RAW

I have a Mac Desktop running Mojave and a Nikon Z6. I have Affinity Photo 1.6.7. I've copied images to the desktop. I open Affinity. File>Open and pick the image. It opens As distorted, with horizontal multi-colored streaks. This happens with all my RAW files. JPEG files open without any problems. I would greatly appreciate any help in resolving this maddening problem. Thanks. Mike MTE_0490.NEF
