PNG and JPEG are RGB file formats, they are not CMYK. RGB = Computer Screen, CMYK = Printing Press.
An Affinity Photo or Affinity Designer document can be either RGB or CMYK and we can mix and match imported files but there is no way an image of any format can be exported to a nonexistent CMYK PNG because such a file does not exist. Apples and Oranges, both fruit but orange seeds won't grow an apple tree.

Asked the same similar function in another thread ... i'm just happy to see that it's picking up.
We shoudl be able to add our own subscriptions like pixabay etc or even other paid stock sites, i've tried the one proposed in ADesigner and they work very well and make it kind of fun.
Serif Team should consider to make it possible for us to also register to those stocks sites as we all don't know them, we should be able throught an assistant to register and even pay (secure payment) and even buy or register Affinity from themselves because sometimes i personaly am lazy enough to open another page/tab on my web browser to do so ...

    Hi matt.baker,
This is not the same nor as complete as Illustrator isolation mode - I just don't know if you are aware of it - but if you press and hold ⌥ (option/alt) and click a layer/object in the Layers panel Affinity will isolate it for editing (if the layer is already highlighted/selected in the Layers panel ⌥ (option/alt)-click the thumbnail instead) until you click on somewhere else.

    Hi Alexis,
    Bienvenue sur les forums.
    Merci,
    Gabe.

I have to agree on gradient meshes. I can probably count on one hand the number of times I used the gradient mesh tool in Illustrator. It was one of those features that always seemed like it would be really powerful, but in practice was always too hard to get looking just right.
Illustrator's new freeform gradient tool looks like a big step up, but honestly, I think Affinity Designer still needs to walk before it runs. Fancy gradients are good headline grabbers, but there are other, more basic tools like blend / live repeat, scatter brushes, and vector/pattern strokes that Illustrator has had for over twenty years and Affinity Designer is heading into its fourth without.

there needs to be some form of additional revenue streams other than the one time purchase of the application. Adobe's solution was subscriptions. Traditionally one time purchase software only receives small incremental changes and updates because there is a lack of new revenue other than new sales. We are unlikely to see huge new features being added to products already released, in my opinion.

If serif ran a poll and stated they would implement three highly suggested features but that it would cost them 1.5 million CAD to create ... how would the community support such?

Maybe stated differently - if users want those three features and it will cost 1.5 million to put into place but the funds are not there ...

One possible solution? Collaborative editing via a cloud based system that you subscribe to. Adobe has been unable to do this, and if Serif pulled that off you would see a huge shift.

Also the way Affinity handles deleting nodes is also makes the select and delete method a bit unintuitive.
The default action for deleting a node/nodes in affinity leaves the control handles of the remaining nodes unchanged, the shape is not maintained.
Apps such as Corel Draw automatically try to re-adjust the remaining control handles to maintain the original shape of the line. Affinity does this too, but requires you to hold the OPTION modifier to activate this feature.  I'm not sure if this action was carried over into the iPad version (unfortunately, I've been eagerly awaiting the release of the new iPad so i can get into it).
I have a feature request in to add an option to select which default action the delete key performs (default to either compensation or no-compensation), but I haven't heard anything about it.

@Bob Grahame You can get utilities that will do this for you on the fly, temporarily displaying them as an overlay on your screen.  I'm on a Mac and recently/finally bought Ergonis' KeyCue.  Here's an example showing my current shortcuts in beta 1.7.0.145.  Note that this includes a few that I have defined myself and should not be regarded as the default set.  Note also that what KeyCue displays is interactive, not just a static graphic that you see here.
Still on Macs, there is at least one other utility that you could try which is free: CheatSheet, from Media Atelier.
I'd be surprised if there wasn't something similar available for Windows users.

Hello @IsabelAracama well personaly i'm a big fan of gradient and the way they can make a composition even dreamy or simply good enough but never get my hand to it with Adobe products, it was frustrating but then came Affinity where i actually got to the point of gradient and how to create them and the color theory thing.
That was a bit of story ... Now ! that new tool is just great and very useful when we consider it is always a nightmare to create and abstract background (we're not all Mozart nor Pablo Picasso )
i suggest Affinity to come up with something even better, why would you ask?
Simply because i perceive a bit of Styles thing we have in ADesigner mixed with the already existing Ai Mesh tool.
To me Serif need to bring a real Nec-PLus-Ultra : Free Gradient, Blend/interpolate Tool, Shape builder and keep improving the snapping in the products we use.
Reall it's pure merveille to work with APub for printing projects (i've done few personal things and they just made young peoples go crazy around me) but keep making the product even professional.
in the same time, Chapeau to Adobe for the way they improve their interface and it's whole actions (flipping menus ... they also got inspired by Serif for iPad for this and simply ported it to desktop ...  ... my joke to world).
    Well ... let's improve !
