This problem is still outstanding - i.e. I cannot save back into the Mac Photos app (Catalina, MBP) photos which I have edited in Affinity Photo. This has become a useless app for me now so have abandoned it in favour of Pixelmator - which does exactly what I want Photo

This error message is REAL PAIN and will force me to abandon Affinity Photo unless it is fixed soon "Unable to Save Changes for “Edit in Affinity Photo”" I'm on the public release of Catalina and have done a completely fresh install of Affinity Photo V1.73 It used to be so simple to switch back and forth between macOS Photos and Affinity Photo in v1.67. Since the release of v1.7 it as never worked. PLEASE SORT THIS OUT AFTER SO MANY MONTHS !!!!

I am now of v1.7.2 of Affinity Photo and and it is still not reflecting any changes I've made in Mojave Photos app. Attached is a screen-shot of an edited photo on the right (cropped and sky darkened), and on the left is the same photo when imports into Affinity Photos. This used to work correctly in v1.6. Please can you fix this as it is very annoying and means I have to do all my preliminary editing (straightening, cropping etc) in Affinity Photo before making any edits in Mojave Photo.

I am also suffering from the broken link between v1.7 and editing in MacOS Photo app. Changes that I have already made in Photos App are not reflected when I then open the same image in Affinity Photo. Please can you fix this soon. Thanks
