  1. Maybe this is helpful for you, as I guess your display profile is not set up correctly for Affinity. https://affinityspotlight.com/article/display-colour-management-in-the-affinity-apps/
  2. ? Your second image you posted 2 hours ago looks like you loaded the image back into Affinity Designer again, so this is why I am asking. Or do you see a colour deviation in a different - non colour-managed - app?
  3. No problem also for mie on Windows. How did you get the image back into AD? Placed it? Copied it? Opened it? So could you upload the image and the AD document with the image showing the wrong colour?
  4. Welcome to the Affinity forums @Jewile! To see the image "clear" they have to be embedded (or linked, but then you need the images). Downside of embedded images is, that the document gets bigger. If it is just the text you want to change, why do you need a hi-res preview? Maybe a reason why ID files are mostly bigger in file size, because of a better image preview?
  5. Welcome to the Affinity forums @Ruisu40! Maybe you could avoid this problem with unchecking Subset fonts. You'll find this option when clicking on the More button in the export dialogue.
  6. A bug in APu? Opened the OP's file with AD and exported as PDF (Print) and it is looking good (apart from the missing fonts). PFC_05_Detalles-cafet.trans para CV-ad.pdf
  7. Sure. Make a list of all errors and send a mail to Serif. From time to time I send some German translation suggestions from the most important town in the world. If they are accepted ... fine ... if not ... ok. But this drove me not away from the Affinity applications.
  8. No. Sounds like the friend has no Affinity Photo. Opening in Photoshop everything is reduced to one layer. So I would recommend PSD.
  9. Create the asset in the Designer persona of Publisher. Switching back to the Publisher persona shows the created asset still there. But yes, I would also like to see Affinity more shareable.
  10. Welcome to the Affinity forums @karlb1! I guess you are using Affinity Photo? On which OS? Does the preview in the printing dialogue shows it centered? Which printer are you using? Did you use a non-100%-scaling in your printing dialogue? I made a test myself and the document printed nearly perfectly in the centre with an old Samsung laser copier.
  11. My intention behind this was, to shorten a discussion which spanned several posts before accidently seeing a screenshot with the part open behind the chevron. What I dislike about the current concept of the chevrons is, that maybe error-prone functions hide behind the chevron. In my particular case it was blend option blocking editing a mask. I see that my two-line-toolbar would steal space, so my second thought was to make it a detachable panel to place it where it hurts less.
  12. Welcome to the Affinity forums @DiWi! Right now this is not possible, but this is a wanted feature. So this is more a feature request.
  13. Recently trying to help a user and out of pure luck I saw some functions open normally hiding behind the chevrons due to a smaller screen. So my thoughts here would be to make the context toolbar configurable to 2 rows or the context toolbar a panel of its own.
  14. No, depends on the size of the window. I am using 24" monitors, means I have no problem. I am not sure if increasing Windows screen resolution might help.
  16. I was trying as hard as possible, but I never get a 0 inside the file name. When the APu document has more than one page then you get the numbering, because raster formats are "usually" single page formats. But this is inconsistent a bit confusing anyway. Assuming a 3 pages document: a) Export of three pages = page_1.jpg, page_2.jpg, page_3.jpg b) Export of page 1 = page_1.jpg c) Export of page 2 = page_1.jpg d) Export of pages 2 and 3 = page_1.jpg, page_2.jpg Hmmm, what I would expect (wish), would be, that the files would be named after their page number.
  17. As a side note: Your design consists of curves. So if you export to a raster format you cannot expect the output as crisp as the export to a vector format. SVG would be a good candidate for you as it is supported by all? browsers.
  18. Welcome to the Affinity forums @lou772! It is by design (don't know if Serif is re-evaluating this), that text in an EPS is convered to curves when opened in AD. I don't know photobank, so I don't know if you can download as e.g. PDF or AI (with PDF stream) from there. Edit: Or you can convert from EPS to PDF with e.g. Adobe Distiller (works) or some online converter tools (not impressed so far).
  19. Isn't this what is needed to make it work? So someone like @Mark Ingram has to solve this riddle?
