Do you know what gets lost when saving to pdf instead of Affinity’s native format?
At first thought I would say any text / object style information, images scaled in a picture frame lose the now invisible parts, palettes tbc. Even everything is prepared fine for export, you cannot be sure that future application (whatever their name is) opens the PDF for editing like the original Affinity document.

I am not a programmer, so I do not know if this is possible. I would like to have a transparent application background (gray area in the screenshot) when no document is open and that this background is not an "obstacle" to directly click what is under the application.
That would be IMO helpful at 1-screen-workplaces like a laptop or tablet.

So far I did found a Hunspell dictionary, but without the Hyphenation dictionary.

In which way does Affinity allow the same?
Welcome to the Affinity forums @BettyLoop!
Unfortunately there is no ultimate exchange format for later use. What file format should this be anyway? The usual file formats are more (AI) or less (PSD) closed source. PSD is not a real option, as there is no feature parity and editable text is not preserved. TIF with Affinity layers opens as flat in e.g. PS. PDF for vector would be the best option (not SVG).

I would like to see this changed in a forthcoming version of APub.
This seems to be Mac specific. On Windows (1.9.2.1035) I can walk through the files with the keyboard. Maybe an oversight, that this is missing on Mac?

I have a UHD 630 (only) in my machine and with the latest driver I never had a problem so far. Though this is not a powerful card

Do check this over very carefully...
How did you solve this? Your version is displaying correctly with the correct dimensions. ???

Welcome to the Affinity forums @Macvalle!
Where is the error here? The fact that e.g. Acrobat X Pro just displays an empty 5080 x 5080 mm document? I think this is the document size limit here. Foxit Reader displays it fine.
To avoid problems like that, I would do the layout in 25% and print it with 400% later on.
-

I am not sure, why the PSD looks so broken, when I open it, but I would guess, that some Faux styles were used on the left side. Attached a version where all text on the left side is editable although not looking like the rastered text on the right side.

This just means, that you made Affinity Photo the default editor for this file type. But you can change this back with Open With, select another app (or similar).
-
AFAIK this cannot be disabled. If you have Affinity Designer also installed, you can use Edit in Designer. There is no visible page edge.

Import PSD text as text rather than bitmap and Import PSD smart objects where possible in Preferences >> General should be checked. Otherwise uploading a sample PSD for us to check would be good.

Not sure if this is made to be like this or if it's a bug.
I had some problems in the past with drawing straight lines, when hardware acceleration was activated. Turning it off in Preferences >> Performance could be worth a try.

I was able to place the AD file in APu, edited in AD and saved as .afdesign file. Beta AD 1.9.4.1085 crashed at once opening the document. I don't know if it is a problem that there were two Artboards named Page 3.

Nothing spectacular, just an observation, maybe not even worth a bug report.
1. Open an image.
2. Select the Crop Tool.
3. Press the Ctrl key.
Result: The Straighten-cursor jumps a little bit to the left and top. Just a few pixel. Unfortunately I am not able to record it.

Is this also the case for you?
Yes, no difference if everything is full compatible or not.

Our custom typeface wont export, only the english letters.

Uncheck Subset Fonts in the export dialogue. This option is hiding behind the More button and try again.
