Could anyone help me please??!
Could be worth a try to uncheck Subset Fonts hiding behind the More button in the export dialogue.

Now if we can just get Designer to export Pantone in their EPS files, I would be over the moon!
I would not expect that Serif invests more love into EPS handling, but who knows. Any arguments using a PDF placed Passthrough? A proper PDF would keep the spot colours.

I'm not even going to try and open that if it can't handle a 10mb file.
I think the problem here is not the file size, but the complexity. Less complex large files open for me quite fast on my average machine. And regarding moving away from PS: Only Adobe knows this format down to the bit, for other companies writing import- and export routines this is a challenge. Please note, that e.g. AP is not able to write back text layers to a PSD, it rasterises them on export.

So, for example, if a .aftemplate file is produced in Affinity Designer can it then be used in Affinity Publisher?
Yes. To edit elements made with AD specific functions you need to have AD also installed.

Well, that is still an interactive feature(regardless of how you created it), and not plain curves.
Poppler has a different opinion about my file, when I use this library with Inkscape. To shorten this: I will patiently wait for official form support in the Affinities.

Welcome to the Affinity forums @Deborah21!
I am sorry to tell you, that there are no spreadsheet functions in Affinity Publisher (or the other two applications).

An adjustment like brightness / contrast lying separate on top has an impact on all underlying layers and causes them to rasterise. Move the adjustment into the layer you want to change and try again.

<ResourceManagerDialog>
<X>30</X>
<Y>1045</Y>
Close the application, edit the XML and change 1045 to 30, save and start the application again.

Welcome to the Affinity forums @Mloren!
Try to turn off hardware acceleration in Preferences >> Performance, restart and test again.
EDIT: I was wrong with my hint, there are lots of layers and FX in this PSD and AP really chokes on that file.

If you attach a sample file with simple elements missing, we can log that.
Attached a simple form consisting of a rectangle / circle as a checkbox / radio button exported as PDF Interactive from ID CS6.

Welcome to the Affinity forums @Lorred!
The only option so far is to hide the textframe in the Layers panel.
Edit: There is another option, but too complicated to create a new white colour with Overprint and apply it to the text.

@Paradise33 Until this is fixed, you can edit "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Affinity\Publisher\1.0\Settings\Window.xml" <DataMergeManagerDialog> coordinates and dimensions as you like. The application has to be closed before editing.

Welcome to the Affinity forums @ChrisDoering!
Try to exit the application and restart. I managed to hide the Resource Manager also, but was able to display it again after a restart.
Edit: And I am curious, what the coordinates of <ResourceManagerDialog> look like in "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Affinity\Designer\1.0\Settings\Window.xml".

Welcome to the Affinity forums @Season!
On Windows Affinity Photo uses solely LibRaw, which is third party. As I can see on the LibRaw website there is support for GoPro -> GoPro (via GPR SDK), GoPro Fusion, HERO5, HERO6, HERO7, HERO8. So perhaps we need a statement from the developers here?

Welcome to the Affinity forums @ALLENFS27!
Switch to the Layers panel and drag the layer with the cloud into the layer with the sun.
-
In your case you pinned one text frame into another and did not group. Use the Pinning Panel to unpin.

@Paradise33 Double-click on Data Merge at the top of the window. For me it works.

However, I'm not sure what you mean by opening and editing the form PDF.
When I open the PDF containing form elements.
2 minutes ago, walt.farrell said:I would expect that a Passthrough PDF just gives you an accurate visual reprsentation of the PDF content
Or does it literally means that the PDF is not changed by a single bit, even when containing a form? But my only concern is, that graphical elements will be removed.

When you place a PDF with form elements as Passthrough, the form elements will be shown (even form elements are highlighted), but the form is not preserved, when you export as PDF again.
Additionally, more painful, checkboxes and radios I made are omitted, when the form PDF is opened / edited. I had hope, that these elements were kept, as they were simple rectangles, circles made in ID.
More a feature request?

The font changes sizes when it flows to the next text box. Why

This is a long standing issue now in APu and top advice would say, that you scaled the text frame with the outer bottom resize handle. But this is not the whole truth, because I saw this often with opening PDF or IDML files.
Try this: a) Hit the Reset button top right at the Text Styles panel for the frame showing the wrong font size, b) Copy the whole text and put it into new text frames.
If this happens with a IDML file, the developers would be keen to get a hand on this file.
