There is a Live Filter called Lighting. Maybe this is what you are looking for?

Correct, not all fonts do have this problem, but some like: Corbel, Milo, Gabriola, Minion Pro, Myriad Pro, Source Sans Pro and Tahoma. These are the ones I found in my installed fonts.

You don't have to rasterise the vector line. Just assign a text wrap to it.

Maybe I missed a few things over the years. A TIFF could have a bleed? Where to set this up? Or does this option moved unintentionally to the "More" section for export?

Yes, I do know that is error message is not new. I do know, that overly complicated vectors in the neighbourhood might be the reason. So this is only a feature request and maybe belongs more to ADesigner: Is it possible to add a function to APublisher / ADesigner to "simplify" or "tidy" complex vector graphics? My problem is, that the hundreds of original vector graphics were made with some obscure graphics programme and later save as EPS with Illustrator. Even small curves consist of dozen single line fragments.

Other questions are: a) Why is there no Stock panel in Designer? b) You can only add bitmaps, but some of the stock "photos" are vector. Placing vectors instead of bitmaps would be better in Publisher / Designer.

Originally I wanted to praise the developers for adding such nice things like filler text randomly starting with other parts of the filler text, when filler text is added, but in the end I got a crash I have to report here. Perhaps not so easy to replicate. 1. I am using a custom filler text. 2. Make a new document A4 with a Master page. Not saving it. 3. Going to the Master Page and add a text frame. 4. Going back to page 1, double-click the text frame from master and insert filler text. 5. Adding a new text frame and linking it with the frame from master. 6. Going back to Master page and delete the text frame. Going back to page 1. Reposition the remaining text frame. Adding some other text frames with filler text. Resizing them, deleting a few of them. 7. Moving the slider in History back and forth results in a crash. Maybe there a too many steps in here, haven't tested it to the end. After the first crash Publisher asked me to recover the file, I said yes and file was up again with the complete history. Moving the history slider back and forth resulted in another crash. But this time I was not asked to recover, maybe due to the fact, that I only moved the history slider. Added: Publisher seems to crash at the position of the history, when I am going to delete the text frame on the Master page.

The problem here is I think, that the text cursor is barely visible when you double-click the text frame, because the text cursor is on the line of the text frame.

Resize the canvas around the anchor you want. Add a pixel layer, move it under your image and fill this layer with your desired colour with the Flood Fill Tool. This is one option to do what you want, but the closest option to do what you did before in Photoshop. Awful English.

This is the concept of text frames on Master pages that they cannot be "easily" or accidently edited. But you can edit them anyway. Click on the spread you want to work with on the Master Layer and pick Detach from the Context bar. Then you can select the Master Page item you want to edit. If you just want to add text frames resp. working with text it would be better adding the text frames to the spreads.

The date an official member of Serif answered was in December 2016. Nearly three years ago. Maybe they changed their mind?

What is the setting in Character panel at Language? My default setting is Deutsch, Auto, Auto, Auto.

Maybe covered elsewhere in the dungeon of this forum? Are there plans do add plugin-support for Designer? I would love to see the plugin for my Mimaki CG-60SR III cutting plotter working with Designer.

Nothing I can imagine right now. Resizing to zero happened accidently.

I know this now, but wouldn't it be better if the value slider would be not accessible after the selection? An active option always implies, that changes are possible.

Hmmm, still found something to dislike. Select a marquee tool with Feather 0px, make a selection and then try to change the Feather to any higher value. A Feather value change after a initial setting does not work. But maybe I forget a setting?

Serif already made it harder to create a text frame / rectangle etc. with the width or height of 0 with not allowing to fill in 0 into the transform panel, but still possible by doing it manually. Just add a guide and decrease the size manually until it snaps at the guide.

The selection of the Elliptical Marquee Tool simply vanishes after making the selection. Same happens with Column / Row Marquee Tool. Selections only working with the Rectangular and Freehand Selection Tool.

Never getting to old to learn. But in the case of GrosseFreiheit a hard return is the more convenient way.

It doesn't matter if Justify left is enabled, when the paragraph contains soft linebreaks.

Don't use SHIFT+Return for linebreaks, but a normal Return. The above behaviour is normal - like in other programmes. Keinen weichen Umbruch, sondern einen harten Umbruch benutzen. Obiges Verhalten ist normal in den meisten Programmen.
