Totally missed that indeed, BUT why so inconsistent in the UI? At the Adjustment panel there is a button for saving a preset. With the FX you have to create a style and apply from the Styles panel.

I think he/she/it wants to save the FX as a preset like it is possible in Adjustments.

On the stroke panel there is a checkbox "Scale with object".

Should be OK from my point of view, but I hope you are not going to sue me if not? Rasterising seems to be compromise until things might get better. If you have a good relationship to your printers just send them the file and see if they have problems with the file.

Seems to be that some/all non-Adobe PDF readers have problems with the presentation? When I open the PDF in FoxIt or Chrome it looks like on screenshot 2. So it appears a bug to me. Until this is hopefully fixed you can rasterise the image layers before export to PDF.

I have no problems with any browser. The only thing I can report about browser is, that on a two monitor setup - with the Affinity applications on the left monitor and Firefox on the right monitor - I am not able to drag a Firefox tab to the left monitor. I also had some performance problems a while ago in a BETA, but this is no more a problem. Maybe due to the fact, that this large document was very complex, having a lots of vectors. Maybe worth a try would be to close all panels that will render something in the layout area like Pages, Assets, Styles, Resource Manager, Navigator, Layers etc. or switching to Preferences -> Performance -> Retina Rendering = Low Quality. With the last option I can't see any difference. Wasn't Retina a marketing buzz word from Apple? Maybe there is actually no difference?

Which PDF export setting did you use? With X4 it looks nearly like the first screenshot.

From within the Affinity applications this is not possible - even setting a password on PDF export is ATM not possible. You have to use other tools to lock your files.

You can do nearly everything with a "locked" layer. Not my understanding of a lock. A bit better in Publisher - you cannot move the layer, but you can add FX, Adjustments and Live Filters to it, but still not a real lock.

Right now there is a problem with exporting Live Filter Layers to PDF. You have to rasterise the layer first.

Maybe a reset (studio) would help? Hold CTRL at startup.

Stupid title I know. Since Designer / Photo / Publisher are tightly integrated working together, I would love to see an even tighter integration / collaboration. How about sharing and I do not mean importing all kinds of things: a) Shortcuts: Shortcuts for the Personas do not inherit the definitions from their "parents". But this will be changed, I learned recently. b) FontSets: Normally I am using just 4-6 fonts for all types of layouts I am working on. So for me I do not need the tons of fonts from the fonts list. Maybe starting / working with Affinity would be much faster, if a limited font list would be used. Or perhaps as part of creating a new document to assign this limited FontSet. c) ColourSets: A fixed list of colours I can assign creating a new document. d) Assets / Symbols: To be used everywhere. Example: When I switch in a Publisher document to the Designer Persona I only get the Assets of Publisher and not the assets of Designer. Same for Symbols. Maybe I want to use Symbols not only in Designer (Persona). e) TextStyleSet: Selecting a TextStyleSet when creating a document. f) PreferenceSet: For example colour preferences or hardware preferences or or. Right now the preferences have to be all set individually. So now beat me up. Maybe some wishes are already fulfilled, maybe some wishes are crap.

I don't know, what you mean by another click, but you can set the preferences under Menu Edit -> Preferences -> File types (do not know the correct translation, using German version of Bridge). There you can assign, which application should open which file type.

This is what I was hoping for, so that I do not have to define shortcuts more than once. In the meantime I will import the shortcuts.

First off: He is vague in his writing. Second: Which application is he using? Designer? How do you know it is so? Maybe Publisher which has no Corner Tool. Third: He wrote "What the hell is STUDIO ..." and not "Why the hell is STUDIO hidden ...". Don't want to sound disrespectful here, but if he wants help, he has to write a bit more what is wrong in the application(s).

I have all three Affinity applications installed. I changed a few shortcuts in Photo, because they were based on an English keyboard. When I now switch to the Photo persona inside Publisher, the shortcuts are not inherited from the Photo application, it rather seems to be, that Publisher has its own sets for all Personas. Could the shortcuts not be shared among all applications? Or maybe I got something wrong.

It seems to be, that you have Preview Mode enabled. Find it under Menu View or as a button on the top tool bar.

Examples? Maybe your terms and wording could make the product better? Maybe I should have asked before: What application are you using? Yeah, first question I can answer. With Studio you can show / hide various panels (having various functions). Have you ever played with the application? Tested different things? I doubt it.

No for all fields. Enter e.g. 2 into the second field from the left and move the scroll wheel down. Next value is 1, but after that not 0 but 0,05.

1. Place an image. 2. Crop it a little bit, with the Crop Tool. 3. Convert to Picture Frame. Expected: Image stays in place. Result: Image is moved and the Picture Frame contains a Constraints Group. I tried many things with the Constraints, but I never managed to have the image stay at place.

One of those WTF moments. After your last post I tried again and it failed. A few new documents later my workaround worked again. So I am sorry that my workaround was no workaround for you, just an accident / pure luck. So one more bug for the developers to fix I guess.
