Your document setup says, that the Colour Profile U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2 is used, 75.eps is using the same profile. The two JPEG are using Adobe RGB (1998) profile. Without seeing the complete file without the images, I would say it is a mismatch of the colour profiles.

I experience the same as Neoziox on Windows 10. BUT, when I delete the red circle and make a new one, everything exports fine as PDF. Was the design originally made with ADesigner or was the design imported or copied from another file?

In addition to the above. You don't have to convert the text into curves. Just select text and rectangle and press ALT + Subtract. The benefit here is, that the text is still editable.

What are the dimensions of your document? Must be tiny, when a line width of 3.6px is nearly covering the whole width of the document. There is a Stroke panel, you just have to make it visible. Right now it is 3 tabs away (to the right) from your Swatches panel.

No, I was adding an existing file into an already content filled file. Often enough Affinity applications fixed themselves from one work day to the next. So this is here the case too. Adding pages from an existing APu works if you add them at the beginning or the end. But e.g. adding page 3 from existing file after page 2 of target document crashes the application.

Use the Transform panel to rotate the text frame. Maybe 90° degrees are better 😉

With the next version 1.8x you can preflight your document and overflowing text frame can be shown.

This works in the retail version: 1) Import a palette as document palette. 2) Set this palette as Default for e.g. CMYK/8. 3) Create a new document. Result: There is no default palette. The CMYK8.propcol file is in the correct directory. Please do not tell me now, this is by design, because the palette is not an application palette. If yes, this is very annoying, because of the inability to import a palette with global colours as an application palette and keeping the colours global.

@multis I checked your PDF in Acrobat for X-4 conformity and Preflight showed some problems like having TrimBox and ArtBox at the same time, no OutputIntent, missing glyphs etc. pp. For more details see the screenshot (sorry only in German). After that I tried to convert to X-4 with ICC US Web Coated (SWOP) v2 (just to have one) and Voila! the file opened within a minute. Conclusion: Something is going wrong when exporting from Scribus or APublisher has problems with the data. If you can export from Scribus again I would try with X-4 option (if possible). This is weird. I change my recipe: Go to Master Page and select a text frame, have it still selected and then open Spelling Options. If you simply go to the Master Page and start Spelling Options you will end up at a locked text frame.

The information for the shadow is there, but invisible on a white background. So I won't call this matter fixed.

Go to the Master Page and try Spelling options again.

We are already on 1.7.3.481 btw. After reading I tested a random file for conformity with PDF/X-4 and I got no errors and no warnings. To judge what is wrong with your document you could post it here maybe.
