Hi Joachim
I hope you don't mind me sending this request for assistance direct to you. You have been of great help so far.
The AfPub file which I was working on last night suddenly closed and then on attempting to reopen produced this dialogue box. I have written a little more on my 'start a new topic' page. I haven't had any answers and wondered if this is a fatal fault? I would like to open the file if possible, it would save a lot of additional work.
Thanks in advance if you have time to look

I am very sorry that I can't help you further. I tried different ways to open the file with no success. I think you have to ask the people of Serif for assistance.
Just out of curiousity: Was the attached file linked / embedded in another Affinity Publisher document? If so, do you get access from there?

Many thanks for help with page number problem. I have no idea where that high 'space before' figure came from. Would it have been 'built in' to the rest of the tutorial?
Anyway thanks for the solution - I would never have discovered it. -

No problem, glad I could help. Regarding the space before: The Affinities like to keep values used from the last action. At some point you inserted - perhaps accidently - these values. So with every new text frame the last values are used. You can click on a text frame and use the Revert Default button from the top toolbar to get back to initial values, which means all formatting will be lost.
