Is there a way to save selections

in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

Hey everyone. I am a photoshop user and have been for 20 years. I hate how they have subscriptions so Im trying out this product. Does anyone know of a way to save selections so I can save time in the future of my art? Or what is the equivalent way to do that if save section is not an option? Thanks
