    Check the width and height and the X, Y coordinates of that object. Are they integer values? If not then the object is not aligned with the pixel grid letting the background bleed through the antialiased edge.

    Height of both the objects are same.

    148 px. But then one of the object is coming bigger than the other (in terms of height) which is making such displacement.

    How do I fix it?

    Hi grjusk, adidam,

    Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

    In this case another option is to add one node to one of the yellow shapes over the shared edge then drag it over the other shape so part of it overlaps the second shape then performing a boolean operation between the two so they become a single shape since both shapes have the same colour.

    Another way to disguise the issue is adding a background shape with the same or similar colour (depending the complexity of the images) as the ones in the foreground below that edge.

    @adidam

    If both shapes are aligned to the pixel grid and you are dealing with a perfectly vertical or horizontal straight edge those gaps shouldn't be visible at 100% zoom nor should appear in the exported images (assuming you don't rescale them).

    Hi, Thanks for the help. I have tested this out just now.

    You can see it is showing GREEN LINE of snapping. But then, see below the screenshots.

    You can see the shape is coming out of line and there is a gap too.

  3. Hi. I am struggling in something that whenever I try to make something, I don't get to use the smartness of Affinity Designer.

    It doesn't show me the automated height, length and angle thing.

    Like in the below screenshot, I am trying make something with the pen tool but then affinity designer is not showing the right height I should make so that it matches the previously drawn side on the other half (or I say follow the symmetry).

    How do I make a symmetrical vectors?

    P.S.: I am trying to learn things and if you think there is some video which could help me out too (any tutorial)? Please care to share with me. Any help is always appreciated.

    Thanks.
