Dan C got a reaction from s5b in Where is the warp tool? Affinity Designer v2.2.0
    Hi @s5b,
As Garry mentions, the Vector Warp functionality in Designer can be found under Layer > Warp - you can find out more about this functionality here:
    Warping Objects

The above is not true however, as Affinity Designer version 2.1 added this functionality through the Pixel Persona, under Layer > New Live Filter Layer.
You can now find both Perspective & Mesh Warp Filter layers for warping Pixel content in Designer under this menu, which is covered further below:
    Live Mesh Warp
    I hope this helps

Thanks for your report @Luc(as) and we're sorry to hear this document was lost.
I can confirm this is already logged as a bug with our development team - I'll be sure to update this log and 'bump' this with the team to bring it to their attention once again.

    Hi @Dan C,
Just some additional info which may or may not be helpful...
This only affects Photo, everything works as expected in Designer, Publisher and the Photo Persona in both Designer and Publisher.
It looks like a screen re-draw issue and affects all 32-bit profiles but only when the Hue value is set to 0 or 360, set it to 1 or 359 and the Red displays correctly, set it to 0 or 360 and zoom in and out and you see a mix of Red and Pink...

Dan C got a reaction from mmmmm in Problems with exporting
This is expected behaviour with Artboard documents when exporting to PDF - each Artboard will be exported as a separate page within the PDF document, though the Export Dialog Preview will only show the 1st page of the multi-page document, hence the preview shown above.
If you want to export all Artboards within a singular PDF page, there are 2 options. You can either use the Export Persona, setting the document slice to PDF -
    2023-10-12 10-50-26.mp4
Or you can create a singular Artboard that encompasses the size of all your Artboards in your file, then nest your multiple Artboards within this and export to PDF -

I hope this clears things up

Thanks, everyone. Not sure what happened there. (Or rather, I can guess, and it was a dumb user error on my part )
Adjustments panel, scroll to LUT, select the LUT Category:

That gives you the list, from which you pick the one you want:

Having chosen one, if you don't like it you can just pick a different one from that list in the Adjustment category. Or you can play with the Opacity and Blend Mode, as there are no other settings for a LUT adjustment.

Dan C got a reaction from Gmn_1964 in [FIXED] Affinity V1 apps crash on launch when using Intel/Rosetta on macOS Sonoma with Light UI Style
Following the release of macOS Sonoma, our team have identified an issue whereby the Affinity V1 apps will crash on launch, if the UI style is set to Light UI for Intel / Rosetta based macs.
In order to resolve this crashing issue, you will need to reset the Affinity V1 app to default settings.
To do this, please open Applications > Utilities > Terminal. In the Terminal window that opens, type the following and hit Enter, depending on the Affinity app you are using:
    Photo - defaults delete com.seriflabs.affinityphoto
    Designer - defaults delete com.seriflabs.affinitydesigner
    Publisher - defaults delete com.seriflabs.affinitypublisher
Some users may receive a 'Domain not found' error when using the above Terminal command. If this occurs, you will also need to manually delete a file through Finder.
Please open Finder and navigate to the following location:
    ~/Library/Preferences
Within this folder, please locate the below files and delete these, for each app that is crashing:
    Photo - com.seriflabs.affinityphoto.plist
    Designer - com.seriflabs.affinitydesigner.plist
    Publisher - com.seriflabs.affinitypublisher.plist
This should reset the app to default settings, using the Dark UI style, and should stop the app from crashing when launched.
Our team are aware of this problem and are investigating further.
If you have any issues resetting the app, or if the crash continues to occur after following these steps, please create a New Thread and our team will be happy to assist!

Many thanks for providing all of this for me, it's certainly helpful!
I can confirm I have been able to replicate this issue here, interestingly when using an external monitor that is higher resolution that the internal monitor, this does not occur - but enabling Scaling (More Space) on the external monitor with the higher resolution then shows this issue.
With a monitor that is lower resolution than the internal monitor, the issue is shown when scaling is not applied to either.
Therefore I have logged this as a bug with our developers to be resolved in a future update. I hope this helps

Dan C got a reaction from Darner in Grid returning to Isometric
Thanks for providing that for me!
I can see you are opening the Grid options from the Isometric Studio, therefore it is expected behaviour that the Grid settings are opened with the Isometric option enabled.
If you don't wish to use the Isometric Grid option, you can enable and adjust the Grid settings through View > Grid and Axis..., which will be retained when opening and closing this dialog.
I hope this clears things up

I agree - I don't expect the PDF export to be larger than the canvas shown in Affinity, and equally when using Document > Unclip Canvas in Photo with such a document causes this white border to expand ad infinitum.
Both of these issues have been logged with our team

Dan C got a reaction from Affinity Rat in what does it mean when System app shows Aphoto data shows files in storage that are not present in the gallery?
It's hard to be certain without seeing the same information you are referring to, but these files may contain 'Live Docs' that have not yet been manually saved to your iPad, alongside application data, such as saved Presets, Assets, Brushes etc.
'Safely Deleted' is somewhat of a personal user choice in this regard - the app will likely continue to function correctly if you were to delete these files, but you may lose these documents and custom data, as outlined above. We don't directly recommend deleting these files unless absolutely necessary, as the data will be unrecoverable after deletion.
I'm unsure what you mean by 'Affinity Photo app directory' - if you are referring to the Affinity Photo folder created on your iPad by the app, then yes the app saves temporary documents, autosave files and user data outside of this 'Affinity Photo' folder, but this is still contained within the 'Sandbox' of the Affinity app.
These additional locations that the Affinity iPad apps can access/save to, outside of the 'Affinity Photo' folder within Files are not something that a user can typically access on iPad, as Apple choose to keep this section of the OS locked down. As above we don't recommend deleting or interfering with this data manually.

I've been able to replicate this here, both with Marks files and in a new document - it appears to simply be the presence of the Gaussian Blur layer and only seems to affect PDF export.
I'm getting this logged with our development team now, as I cannot see any previous reports of this specific issue.

    Hey all -
Just nipping back in here to say that the brunt of it does appear to have been an issue with my Mac on my end. I updated the operating system and it is no longer a massive issue. Weirdly some of my pdfs still export with a teeny tiny white line along some of the edges, but extending the objects / colour beyond the barriers of the artboard before exporting seemed to fix that for me. I'm still on V1 so this may well be a bug, however if it happens to anyone else, be sure to check your OS etc first!

    Hi @RichardMH,
    Thanks for your report!
I can confirm I've replicated this issue here, it appears to occur with the following 4 blend modes, when using the Gradient Map Adjustment -
    Vivid Light
    Colour Burn
    Hard Mix
    Reflect
Therefore I have logged this with our development team now. Interestingly it does not seem to occur if the Mask layer is not nested within the Adjustment layer, or if you use the Mask built into the Adjustment layer itself.
    I hope this helps
