The Perspective Tool would be a quick way to do this.
Just File > Place the game image onto the theatre image, resize it approximately to the size of the screen, then use the Perspective Tool to move the corners of the game image onto the screen, add beer, popcorn and a few mates and the job's done

Unfortunately Affinity isn't compatible with any of the Plus range files, and there are currently no plans to have Affinity Publisher opening PagePlus files, however you can export your current .ppp files as SVGs, then import them into Designer.

This is a slightly convoluted question, as Designer cannot be used to directly create a webpage, it can only be used to design websites graphically.
You can create logos, banners, navigation panes etc which can be exported as an SVG for HTML/CSS export in a different program for direct to web use!

In terms of set as default, this setting is used to create a document palette when creating a new document within the set colour space as R C-R has mentioned, however we are aware that the palette does not switch automatically and this has been logged with the developers, so I will be sure to update the issue with this thread.
 
 
As far as I'm aware, Affinity has always behaved like this, and closing a tab will always revert to the first document on the left hand side. I'll move this thread to feature requests for our developers to see and consider!

Unfortunately there isn't currently this function in Affinity, however it has been requested previously here and here and so it hopefully may be implemented in a later update  

No worries. I am just glad that you found the workaround & that it works. It is an easy enough thing for a user to do that it probably isn't worth much of the developers' time to provide an in-app way to reset the default to none. Instead, it would be time better spent on making the panel switch to the default document palette if one is set.... 

Unfortunately this is a current by-product of using the default options and I have yet been unable to find a way to restore this to default, even through a CTRL start up procedure.

I've logged this with the developers as a bug, as there certainly should be a way of reverting this. The current workaround I have found is to rename or delete the App Data for Designer and re-start the program. Sorry there's no easy way around this currently!

This is unfortunately an issue with the Mac App Store and not our software update. I'd recommend signing out of the App Store and signing back in, then trying the update again.
If this does not help, you can either try following some troubleshooting fixes found here, or simply uninstall the app and then re-install, which will install the latest version. I hope this helps

You can use merge visible layers as you have mentioned, which is a non destructive way of merging multiple layers to one new pixel layer.
Another option is to go to Document > Flatten, however this will merge ALL layers together into one rasterised pixel layer.
Also, you can select multiple layers, group them together and then rasterise them, giving you more control than Flatten but this is destructive.

Personally, I think I've satisfied both points here!

This version only took a couple of minutes, nothing special Affinity Photo has all the tools. I just used the Inpainting Tool on the cat and then the Clone Tool on the floor.

Just couldn't resist :
1. Get a new kitchen without a cat.
2. Put the cat outside and take a second picture.

Not exactly a movie poster or DVD cover, but it is film related. Quite tame for my standards.
There was a Gerry Anderson event in London, a friend of mine's old English teacher (pictured middle) plays in a group that covers ALL the theme music from Gerry Anderson's TV shows. It was quite a big event - especially for fans.
Anyway. . .a friend of theirs, who likes the sauce, had a bit too much so he asked me to perform a head transplant just for fun.
The unsuspecting fan (bottom middle) became the unwitting recipient of the joke.

But seriously. . .I make them for my own personal amusement, and amusing they are! Mainly wallpapers which I distribute amongst friends.
 

I'm not sure why I made this and I'm even more uncertain as to why I'm posting it here I feel as though it helps to have a fun thread every now and then  If anyone else has done face swaps using Affinity I would love to see them and yes that is my real body.
 
 

Yeah, but I already have enough emails related to work going into my inbox. I need less emails, not more. Besides I already have a design related curated feed in Feedly, it's much better to plug this source into the existing system rather than having to check a separate place for news.
For these reasons, please consider doing an RSS feed.

The Develop Assistant options are "merged" with the regular Assistant on the iPad version. Only the Lens corrections and Noise reduction are not available for the Apple (Core Image RAW) engine, the rest (Apply tone curve, Raw output colour format etc) can be accessed tapping the Document icon on the top left of the interface and selecting Assistant while in Photo Persona (the last two rows of dropdowns).
