Sorry to hear you're having trouble. I've tried to replicate this using the same filters you've used, with the same layer hierarchy. I saved one copy directly to iCloud, and one to the iPads internal storage, which was then uploaded to dropbox. Both files then downloaded to my Mac and opened in Photo, these both opened correctly with the layers intact, so I can't currently replicate this issue, my apologies.
Could you please upload a copy of your file here?

I apologize - it looks like this topic has been covered, with the answer being that I need to update the App Store versions to the latest version (1.7.1) of Photo and Designer, which are available now.  The Mods can delete this topic if they would like.

Ok, i've worked it out.
On the print dialog, set the size of the image to 100%.
Then on the "Document Layout" sub panel, select "Tiled" from the "Model" pull down menu.
That seems to do the trick

Thanks for the reply :)! Love the program btw. It's got a few glitches but I do really appreciate the work that you and others at Serif do-- this program has saved me a lot of money over that one product from that one company beginning with A and ending with "we're going to steal your money with a monthly subscription now" lol!

I recommend checking out the following thread regarding this! It isn't likely to be a feature we bring to Designer, but this is possible in Publisher. 
 

That did the trick, so .NET 4.8 framework was the solution for me - thank you.
Also, update from 1.7.0 > 1.7.1 went smooth without any problems.

Seriously, why change to blue for luminance, which forces us to figure out each time which of the two blue sections is Blue, and which is Luminance?

If you have a backup of the per user folder where your settings were stored in version 1.6.x, this may be possible. Officially, it is an unsupported hack, so it is a 'try at your own risk' fix, but if you first back up the current 1.7 folder somewhere it should be reasonably safe to try. Just make sure the app is not running when you try it.
The folder location is different for Mac & Windows. This post by forum moderator @Leigh will tell you the file path for both, & down in the Reset Adjustments section that the Adjustment settings are stored in the adjustments.propcol file. So at least in theory, if you replace the current version of the file with the one from your backup & restart Photos, the adjustments you created in 1.6 should be available in the panel.
If this doesn't work, you can quit the app, restore the  1.7 version backup of this file (not the whole folder), & (hopefully) nothing will be amiss the next time you run the app.

One of the top tool on left panel is the “crop” tool, once selected you’ll have option as what size and format you want it on top panel.
 

Hi everyone.  i just downloaded Affinity Photo today and thought I would have some fun while getting acquainted with the interface. So far i am finding it quite smooth, coming from CS2 lolz.
I took two images from Unsplash and put them together.  I have done photo manipulation just for fun, so as always, I keep it simple.  Any and all thoughts are welcome.

As best as I can tell, everything works correctly for me. I used the file from this post above; the brush settings shown below; all 3 layer options (Current Layer, Current Layer and Below, & Layers Beneath); & brushing on both the top pixel layer & the (unlocked) Arrière-plan pixel layer below it.

As you can see, I also have the blue slider fills for Accumulation & Flow that are missing from the screenshot @WilldOlive posted.

We have replicated this when switching to another application and clicking on the UI to switch back to Designer. It has been reported to the developers. If you click on the view (when coming back from another application) the stylus continues to function. Sorry for this regression.

Loss of brightness suggests that you’re using the RGB colour space in your design but then publishing to PDF for print using CMYK. The CMYK colour space has a much smaller gamut, and bright colours (especially green and orange) are among the casualties.

You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave!
