  1. Hi MartinF, Welcome to the forums Could you please confirm, are you using Serif Labs RAW engine or Apple Core? Both are compatible with your camera, but the issue may be isolated to one and not both. I've seen something similar to this before (see thread below), and this problem was only occasional. Could you please try closing the RAW development and opening the image again? Does it appear correctly?
  2. Hi Phatman You might find something helpful in the links provided in the below post, unfortunately I'm not a Fuji user so couldn't comment personally!
  3. Hi LinkLayer I'm sorry to hear this, it certainly isn't something I've heard of before. Could you please upload some sample JPEGs (10-15 would be perfect) and the macro that you're running to the following link? This will allow me to look into this for you! https://www.dropbox.com/request/2EBRoejpuetmfTgT7rgs
  4. Sorry to hear this Gregory, my colleague @James Ritson uses the Olympus EM-1 Mk2 (or at least used to!) and may be able to provide some helpful tips. When opening the RAW, are you using Serif Labs or the Apple Core RAW engine?
  5. Hi Goosekeeper If you have an iCloud account shared between the two iPads, you could open Affinity Designers settings on the iPad that contains all of your work, and change the Default Save Location to iCloud. Then, select the three tiered menu option next to each open document on your iPad and select Save. This will save each file as an .afdesign file directly to your iCloud, if they are all called 'untitled' then each time you save another it should incrementally add a number to the end of each document, as to not overwrite the last. If your files are already named, the name should not be changed through this procedure. You can now go to your new iPad and import all of your work from the cloud, using the + icon on the homescreen. I hope this helps!
  6. Hi Doc Ricky Affinity Designer for iPad supports the following file formats for import and export currently: Full Open or Import List Adobe® Photoshop® PSD Adobe® Illustrator® AI (containing PDF stream) PDF SVG EPS Adobe® FreeHand® (versions 9 to 11) PNG TIFF JPG GIF EXR (Open EXR) HDR (Radiance) Affinity Photo native file Affinity Designer native file Full Save or Export List Adobe® Photoshop® PSD PDF (can be opened in Adobe® Illustrator®) SVG EPS TIFF PNG JPG GIF EXR (Open EXR) HDR (Radiance) Affinity Designer (Affinity common file format)
  7. Hi godwheel, Welcome to the forums Selecting the Hand Tool (H) will show your canvas size in the context toolbar at any time. This has been requested previously, see the thread below!
  8. Hi Alinoyan, Welcome to the forums I believe they did, with the following sentence but I may be incorrect. The answer, if you are using Windows, is that Affinity scales with Windows desktop scaling only currently, and doesn't have a built in option to enlarge the UI, my apologies. You can change a few things, like the tool handle size under Edit>Preferences>Tools, but the overall UI scaling is takes from the Windows provided percentage.
  9. Hi Doc Ricky, Welcome to the forums The best way to do this is to select the curve, go to the three dot menu at the top left and select Expand Stroke, then without removing your selection, go to the same menu and select Divide under Geometry. This will create multiple 'curve' objects, one for each dash. Hope this helps!
  10. Hi Kbock There's no way to swap this currently, apologies. I'll move this thread to Feature Requests for our devs to see and consider adding an option in the future!
  11. Hi ydaltak Unfortunately this isn't currently possible, your idea of naming the Pixel layers certainly sounds like a good workaround!
  12. Hi organicspot Unfortunately this isn't currently possible, I'll move this thread to our Feature Requests section of the forums for our devs to consider adding in the future!
  13. Hi Brunswick83, Welcome to the forums Unfortunately the Apple Core RAW engine is only available on Apple PCs. We update our RAW support as often as possible, and I certainly hope the G9 will be included in our supported list for Serif Labs, however I cannot make any guarantees of this, or offer a time-frame currently, my sincerest apologies.
  14. Hi aDora, Welcome to the forums Could you please confirm, what version of Windows are you using? Is it 32bit or 64bit please?
  15. Hi JeffreyMontgomery, Welcome to the forums We update Affinity as often as possible, with the small incremental updates (such as 1.6.1 to 1.6.2) being mainly bug fixes, and larger updates (such as 1.6 to 1.7) being feature changes or additions, along with bug fixes etc. We don't have an update schedule or estimated dates for when these updates are available, we simply release them when ready. Perhaps keep an eye on our beta forums (we aren't running any currently, but hopefully soon) to see what may be included in future updates! https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/forum/60-affinity-designer-beta-forums/ If you have an update available, you can see the change list below: Win - Mac -
  16. Hi Welcome to the forums! Firstly, I recommend changing your username from your email address, as this is a public forum and it may be used maliciously. Secondly, Affinity licenses are non-transferable, meaning if you now require a Mac license you will need to purchase the software again, my apologies.
  17. Hi Roshin, Welcome to the forums It certainly does, please watch the quick video below to see this in action! cpadjustment.mp4 You can use Macros in Affinity Photo for iPad to apply a preset of changes to an image, however you can't currently record these on the iOS version of Affinity, so you will have to create them in the desktop version and import them in.
  18. Hi Steveporter We've seen this issue before in Procreate (See below thread) and I imagine they are related, I'll update our developer report to include Quark Xpress. Could you please confirm your PSD export settings? Unfortunately there's no workaround for opening PSD files into other 3rd party apps currently, so you may need to use PDF files, my apologies for any inconveniences caused.
  19. Hi Daniel Aubert, Welcome to the forums We recommend trying Flow Jitter at 100% set to pressure and Accumulation Jitter between 30%-50%, to closely mimic PS opacity on pressure!
  20. Hi saraheagle! At the moment, only the colour of the layer can be changed, it's been requested previously to have a thicker line option so that these colours are more obvious, I'll update the improvement report with your comments In the meantime, I'd recommend using a bolder or brighter colour, as this may 'jump out' a little more at a glance!
  21. Hi saraheagle Unfortunately there's no shortcut option currently for Lock Children. I'll move this thread to Feature Requests for our devs to consider adding in a future update!
  22. Hi betant, Welcome to the forums We've seen similar reports of this before on our forums, see link below, could you please try updating your graphics card drivers and installing again? We also have an install FAQ linked below which may help!
  23. Thanks for your files, I've looked through and most of this is to be expected. When developing images into 32bit we expect the file size to be much larger, and as mikerofoto has mentioned converting the file to 8bit and deleting the snapshot will reduce the file-size drastically. I developed your Basics image into 16bit without making changes and saved the file at 217MB. I then converted the file and deleted the snapshot and saved it as a new file at 54.3MB. I'd recommend reading the following thread, as our developers went into great detail regarding our proprietary file size
  24. Hi Mark_A If you right click on the filter layers alpha and select create mask layer, Affinity will create a new mask layer that contains the filters selective adjustment. This can then be nested within another filter, such that they have the same selective masking.
