Hi Judia, Welcome to the forums Converting pixel to vector shapes (auto tracing) isn't currently possible in Affinity Designer, but we certainly hope to add this in a future update! This has been discussed multiple times on our forums, see below, with other users suggesting workarounds and alternative software options.

Okay colour me confused... I've got an iPad Pro 2017 12.9" running the latest Affinity Photo iOS and both of these adjustments have the option to add presets on my context toolbar, see below: AFAIK I'm using default settings and these options should be available for you. Apologies but am I missing something?

Hi toltec Well, it's one way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon It's possible to save presets in Photo iOS, but not in Designer iOS. The exact reason for this I'm not certain of, so I'll move this to feature requests and bump the improvement suggestion in our development log!

J'espère que ça aide! ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Hi mimi727, Welcome to the forums To add to a selection, make sure the right mouse button is held down before you begin drawing the addition to the selection. As can be seen below, you should see a small + symbol appear next to the cursor with the right mouse button held down, indication an addition to the selection. You must keep the right mouse button held down whilst drawing the selection, else it will revert to creating a new selection. I hope this helps!

Hi digitalscribe This isn't currently possible, however custom document presets are coming to Affinity version 1.7 and these allow for preset margins, but unfortunately not guides. You can try this for yourself in our current beta!

Hi kevinclarke Our HSL adjustment has colour range options so you can target specific colours when editing, see gif below- However I'm a little confused by your latest post, as I'm unsure how a black and white image can be colourised using a HSL adjustment. A HSL adjustment will target the colours already present in the image, and a black and white image should not contain any colour data to recover or change using a HSL adjustment. Apologies if I'm missing something here.

Hi TotallyNotARobot Currently the quickest workaround for this is dropping the opacity to 0% for the overlay as there's no option to mask these currently. I'll move this thread to our Feature Requests section so our devs can consider adding this option into a future version!

Hi sam1, Welcome to the forums The closest thing we have to this feature currently is Snapshots, you can set up a custom keyboard shortcut to create snapshots, however any switching must be done manually with a mouse in the Snapshots Studio, I recommend checking out the following video for more info - In the meantime, I'll move this thread to our Feature Request section of the forums so our devs can consider adding this in the future

Hi Tham, Welcome to the forums 1. This is an issue we're aware of for certain Macs and we're working to fix this in version 1.7. 2. This is related to your default programs and is controlled through your Mac settings, not Affinity. 3/4. Affinity can't currently write back to RAW files and this isn't a feature we advertise. It's certainly a feature we'd like to implement in the future, but any editing and saving of a RAW file must be saved as a new file currently.

Hi karlthefirst If you open settings>colour from within Affinity Photo, you can import ICC profiles here which can be used for Soft-Proofing, however the iOS version doesn't currently support Printer/Paper profiles within the app, my apologies!

Hi jupf The Pen tool updates that are currently live in the Publisher beta are also currently live in the Designer and Photo 1.7 betas! This will be a feature implemented in v1.7

Hi AT.HA Provided the graphics card is Metal-capable, Affinity will be able to use GPU acceleration to provide a better application experience. Other than this, it is unfortunately company policy that we don't recommend specific hardware, as it can cause liability issues. My apologies I can't help further here, however other users on the forums may be able to offer their own personal advice!

No problem at all 1. Although I haven't used Typekits & Affinity together personally, my colleague Sean has confirmed they work as expected in the below thread, so it's certainly possible. 2. Provided any purchased font is provided as an install-able font file, such as a .TTF or .OTF, these can be installed on an iPad either system wide using a 3rd party font manager app, or directly in Affinity Designer (through settings, see this video)
