  1. Hi DeeUK, Welcome to the forums As v_kyr has mentioned, Affinity only runs on 64bit operating systems and there's no version available for 32bit systems, apologies.
  2. Hi DonKC, Welcome to the forums The Perspective tool in Affinity Photo is the tool I'd personally choose to transform this image, I've created a quick video of this below- Perspective tool.mp4 Are you looking for a different result?
  3. I was concerned with the wording here, our QA team haven't seen said error before either and as you mention the file isn't downloaded into a folder of it's namesake. Hopefully the disk repair will help, thanks for the suggestion as I'm not as used to Mac OS as I am Windows
  4. Thanks for your video, the brush you're selecting is a textured line style and not a solid line style. When changing back to solid line style you're removing the brush texture. If you want to return to a solid path, you'll need to change the brush used for the line to a solid brush, not a textured one.
  5. Thanks for your file. I've opened this in both Windows Photo Viewer and Affinity Photo and the image appears visually similar - This may be different on your machine for a few reasons, firstly please open Edit>Preferences>Colour and check your settings against mine - Secondly, you'll need to check your develop settings. Open any image in Affinity, then go to View>Assistant Manager> Develop Assistant and check your settings here against mine - Does setting your colour settings to match mine here solve your issue?
  6. Hi Ian Richter, Welcome to the forums Sorry to see this, it's not something I've encountered before. Does this happen with any samples, or only specific ones? I've just downloaded and opened the Mermaid sample without issue on my Mac here, so it doesn't appear to be a server issue with the file and may be a permissions error on your Mac, as samples are written to temporary files. Do you have any issue opening other .afphoto files, or saving back to your Mac?
  7. Hi Rayh, Welcome to the forums Sorry to hear you're having trouble! Could you please provide a screen recording of this, as it's not something I can replicate currently. You can find details on how to record your screen here - https://support.apple.com/HT207935
  8. Hi Fantomasas, Welcome to the forums This is by design, when selecting an object with a global colour applied the colour studio will always switch to tint view. I'll move this thread to Feature Requests for our devs to see and consider implementing a duplicate studio option.
  9. Thanks for confirming that Pamela, however I can't find a purchase under your email address for our software on Mac, indicating you likely purchased the software through the Mac App Store. On your new Mac, please log in to the App Store and navigate to the 'Purchases' section. Here you should find any purchased versions of Affinity available to download We've recently started selling both Mac and Windows licenses directly through the Affinity Store, so this no longer applies
  10. Hi Maria Lindhagen, Welcome to the forums We don't currently have a management portal online for Affinity, but it's something we'd like to implement in the future for corporate/education customers. In the meantime, please contact our corp. team directly for any help - corpsales@serif.com
  11. @GarryP I can confirm that this issue is replicable using your workflow provided on Chrome also, so it appears to be an issue with our Forums. I'll inform Invision who power the forums for us, thanks for the report!
  12. Hi Joel Marks, Welcome to the forums You're correct in saying this a feature, not a bug in Affinity. We decided to always use the system wide preferences set, so I've moved this thread to Feature Requests for our devs to consider adding this as an in-app option in the future!
  13. Hi vbahns, Welcome to the forums When exporting to JPEG, what settings are you using please? When I export on a desktop to JPEG, I tend to use the Best Quality preset but change the Resample to Lanczos (separable). If possible could you provide a copy of your .afphoto file, so I can test this on an iPad here?
  14. Hi jp9, Welcome to the forums If possible, could you provide a copy of your .afdesign file? This can be uploaded to the link below and we can certainly look into this for you! https://www.dropbox.com/request/gyU0xoB1BUGITPnL0moR
  15. Hi nigelj, Welcome to the forums We're currently running a beta for version 1.7 of Affinity Photo, which includes a RAW support update. We use LibRAW in the Serif Labs engine for Windows, and the 1.7 beta has the latest version of LibRAW - 0.19. The supported list of cameras can be seen here - https://www.libraw.org/supported-cameras Unfortunately however the Nikon Z6 is not in this list currently, so your camera is not supported. We hope that for future versions we can build our own RAW support library, so that camera compatibility isn't restricted to third party support, but we don't have an eta for this currently so I couldn't state when your camera may be supported, either by LibRAW or by our own library, my apologies.
  16. Hi Pamela027 Could you please confirm, are you using Windows or Mac? Did you purchase the software directly from us, or from the Mac/Windows app store? The more information you provide the easier it is for us to support you!
  17. If you require specific Printer or Paper profiles then I'd certainly recommend printing from a Desktop rather than an iPad
  18. Hi Dave Macxhet, Welcome to the forums Unfortunately it isn't possible to export from Affinity into the DNG format, however there are many free software options available for converting RAW files into DNG, such as Adobe DNG Converter.
  20. Hi jmwellborn This has been queried previously on our forums and was logged with our developers who closed it as 'by design'. ith the OS settings set as you have, scroll bars in Affinity should only display when you are zoomed into the document to the point the scroll bars are required. I'm a little unsure as to how you were seeing different behaviour previous to installing Designer currently, I'll continue to investigate this internally but the issue you're reporting is to be expected.
  21. Hi Keith47, Welcome to the forums The directory used will always default to the same disk that the application is installed on, and currently the default directory can't be changed, apologies. You can however add a folder from your D: drive into the Plugin Search Folder section as John has mentioned above!
  22. Hi TDF I've tested this on my Mac here and I'm not seeing the same issue, could you possibly provide the image you're developing in Affinity to the following link so I can look into this for you? https://www.dropbox.com/request/mTlm8DLm6yrE33quv2Gs I'd recommend trying our latest beta, it may have already fixed this issue as I'm aware changes have been made to the Apple Photos extension!
  23. Hi there, Welcome to the forums Firstly I recommend changing your username, as using your email in a public space can allow for spammers to 'borrow' your identity. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble, I've tested these tools this morning using a Huion H58L and I'm not seeing the same jerky and uncontrollable movement reported. Could you please provide a screen recording of this issue?
