Hi Keypix Unfortunately this isn't currently possible in Affinity on Mac OS, as we use the default system drivers & dialog currently for printing. We plan on updating this in the future, but for the meantime I'll move this thread to Feature Requests!

Hallo Polygonius Wenn Sie eine Tastenkombination zweimal verwenden, wird automatisch das vorherige Werkzeug wiederhergestellt. Dies ist ein erwartetes Verhalten und kann derzeit nicht deaktiviert werden. In unseren Foren wurde zuvor darum gebeten, diese Option als Einstellungsoption zu verwenden, die möglicherweise in einem späteren Build enthalten ist.

Ein Benutzer berichtete, dass das Problem durch das Entfernen der alten Wacom-Treiber behoben wurde. Ein anderer Benutzer hat Windows Ink deaktiviert und das Problem wurde behoben. Könnten Sie bitte beide Möglichkeiten ausprobieren und mich wissen lassen?

You may be able to convert your Z6 images to DNG and open these correctly in Affinity currently, but this cannot be guaranteed. Unfortunately we don't have such a notification system, I'd recommend keeping an eye on our beta section of the forums, as each beta we run will show a list of updates. Thanks for confirming that. Could you please try exporting the file as a PDF using the PDF (for export) preset, then open this PDF in Affinity Designer and attempt to save this new file using Save As. Does this work as expected?

Hi Lykele, Welcome to the forums Layers can certainly be useful beneath the Background layer, but it's not very often they're used for basic image editing. Say you wanted to remove part of your image and used the erase brush, you'd have an image with a transparent (or white depending on your document settings) hole in it. You could then place a pixel layer beneath the background layer and place another image or paint onto this, so that it shows through the erased section of the Background image. I hope this helps!

Thanks for trying that, I've loaded a copy of Mac OS 10.9.5 and I can confirm that loading any RAW file whilst using Apple Core is crashing Affinity. I haven't yet found the cause, but it's likely due to the most recent security update. I'll inform our devs of this now so it can be fixed asap. Batch converting RAWs can lead to darker developed images, this has been raised before on our forums and is with our developers to fix currently. This option appears each time as a safety measure to ensure you don't accidentally overwrite your original files and lose previous work, apologies for any inconveniences!

Thanks for trying that, were you using Save As on the new document? Have you tried changing the file name and save location in this dialog? Do you have a cloud backup service in use that may be running in the background, such as Dropbox? It may be the case that a cloud service is attempting to backup the file and therefore it's 'in use' and cannot be saved. Could you confirm, are you running the Mac App Store version, or the Affinity Store version of the software please?

Hi Patrick Bell It sounds as though you're using the Erase tool on the new layer you've created, which has no pixels to erase! Please check your image layer is selected in the layers panel and the opacity of the erase brush is set above 0% before using the tool.
