  1. Hi @Gavinr, When you set the zoom to "Actual Size" it would read the DPI from the document settings. Change the DPI and the actual zoom would change accordingly. You can also see this happening if you have the rulers turned on. Thanks, Gabe.
  2. @HVDB Photography , the levels adjustments work just fine on individual channels. The problem is that you cannot preview the clipping while holding down ALT. but the action itself of changing the parameters works fine.
  3. Hi @amidoingthisright?, Welcome to the forums. Are you using a graphic tablet when this happens? Thanks, Gabe.
  4. Hi @jenpren, Welcome to the forums. I managed to replicate the issue and I'm pretty sure this is not the normal behavior. I have logged it with our developers and we hope to get a fix in the future updates. In the meantime, you can turn the Scope on( View>Studio>Scope) and switch to RGB Parade. It would give you a bit more info about the clipped areas. It won't actually highlight the area, but you can at least get an idea where that clipped area. It's pretty easy to read a parade. The vertical scale will show you the intensity ( 0 bottom and 100 top), while the horizontal scale would be a representation of your image from left to right. If you have a look at my photo, you can see the spike in the middle of the Blue channel on the Parade, which represents the blue sky in the middle of the image, next to the sign. Hope this helps Thanks, Gabe
  5. I was just about to say this. Currently, in Photo/Designer, there is no option to ignore the clipping paths. I believe it would be a way to implement it, but personally, I don't see this to be a "highly demanded" feature. You don't normally add any paths to jpegs...
  6. @Alfred, I believe the Devs did not include it because it's not a demanded feature. If you need transparency, you would normally use png or tiff.
  7. Well, if the photo has the clipping path embedded, there's no way our software can ignore it. Have a chat with the images provider. They can disable the clipping masks from their end before exporting the file.
  8. Thanks for the file. Your image has got 2 clipping paths. Even though Jpegs don't have an alpha layer, they can store clipping paths, as in your example. You will have to delete or turn the layer visibility off if you don't want to use it.
  9. Hi @JKCologne, Welcome to the forum. Jpeg does not allow alpha channel, so technically you should not see any transparency. I would really like to see the file. Any chance you can attach it here? Thanks, Gabe.
  10. Hi @Calum, Can you please attach the tiff file so we can have a look? Can you open the Tiff in any other apps? Or is the issue only "Sequator" related? Thanks, Gabe.
  11. Hi @fklopper, Welcome to the forum. You can use the Slice Tool in the Export Persona to achieve this. However, you cannot export the part you are zoomed in by default. You will have to make a selection. See the video below. Thanks, Gabe.
  12. Hi @livingdeadgirl, Welcome to the forum. It looks a lot like the Unsharp filter. Layer>New Live Filter Layer>Unsharp Mask Filter.
  13. Hi @Abigail Mowitt, Welcome to the forums. I'm afraid on this forum we only support Affinity products - Affinity Designer and Affinity photo. For any legacy issues, I suggest you either: Post on the correct forum: https://community.serif.com/ Raise a support ticket: http://support.serif.com/Main/frmNewTicket.aspx Thanks, Gabe
  14. Hi @gilsoncav, I've just tried it on both Desktop and Ipad, and on Photoshop, and the Raw file opens up more saturated than the preview. This is because it's opening up the embedded Jpeg, which has the "flat" profile attached. Any adjustments you make to the colour profile would not be reflected in the RAW. See below for comparison. There would be a slight difference on the Ipad as the engine is different and the screen would look more vivid, but it's not significantly different from the other 2. Edit: You can also disable the "Auto tone curve" in develop mode and that will open up the "RAW" file, without the applied curve. Open any new document>Tap on the file icon in the top left corner>Assistant>RAW tone curve>Take no action. You can then close the Document and open the images as normal.
  15. Hi @Yorkshire Lad, Welcome to the forums. I have moved your post to our Feature Requests section. This is where our devs are monitoring the requests. Thanks, Gabe.
  16. Hi @Curlyhatty, Welcome to the forum. That's really weird. Can you please upload the .dng and the .afphoto file here so we can have a look? Thanks, Gabe.
  17. Hi @chris.bannu, I have moved your thread to the Beta forum, as it looks like you're using the AD Beta, not the public release (non beta) Thanks, Gabe.
  18. Hi @Enster, Welcome to the forum. I'm afraid you cannot swap licenses. Even though it's the same price, we will not be able to swap them, because it would be a different package and a different license. Sorry Thanks, Gabe.
  19. Thanks for the sample. Sadly your lens is not on the supported list . So, any lens correction will not be automatically applied. I'm afraid you will have to manually adjust the Lens distortion in the developing persona>Lens Tab. I found it looking Ok with Distortion: -60 and Scale +136. IMG_1155.tiff
  20. Hi @Malcolm Hay, Can you please attach a raw file so we can have a look? Thanks, Gabe.
  21. It's the same issue for us here. Can you try to re-upload it or upload it to our dropbox account? https://www.dropbox.com/request/nXLjNtId0RHAtpjmWeVv Thanks.
  22. Hi @DM1 , Most our Office Ipads run 11.3. Can you be more specific about the issue? Thanks, Gabe.
  23. Have you still got the .afphoto file? If you attach it I can have a look for you.
