  1. Hi @Crawford Aerial Imaging, Welcome to the forums. It looks like you have rasterised the curve by mistake. (Layer>rasterize) Thanks, Gabe.
  2. Hi @joepineapples, Welcome to the forums. I believe that copy/paste only works between Adobe apps as they are using the same data. I suggest you export any designer as PDF/EPS/SVG and you should be able to edit them further, without being rasterized. Thanks, Gabe.
  3. Hi @Manu Carrillo, Welcome to the forums. It's probably just windows clearing the thumbnail cache. It should rebuild itself in the next couple of days. Thanks, Gabe.
  4. Dash - Some elements are not synced ( hover the mouse over the layer name, it will tell what's not synced) Solid - Element fully synced
  5. Hi @Ste Pickford, Welcome to the forums. You can import text in PSD, as text. You just have to enable this in the settings. Go to Edit>Prefferences>General>Import PSD text as text rather than Bitmap. Also, any "smart objects" will be rasterised on import. Thanks, Gabe.
  6. Hi @superstefan, Welcome to the forums. Can you please try to re-download it? It looks like an incomplete file. Also, try to run this if it fails again. https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed Thanks, Gabe.
  7. Hi @Melifire, Welcome to the forums. You can use Blending Modes to blend the texture into the layer. Thanks, Gabe.
  8. @firstdefence is absolutely right. Once you turn the sync off and make an adjustment, it will break the line and the sync for that adjustment. Once it's broken, it cannot be re-synced. Just as in the above video, even if you come to the original value, while the sync is off, you will still not be able to re-sync it. So, the software behaves normally.
  9. Hi @Kalides, Welcome to the forums. We do have this feature. Check this tutorial: Thanks, Gabe.
  10. Hi @Rocksalter, Welcome to the forums. Sadly, at the moment there is no option to disable the touch input. This is mainly because there is no special build for Surface, it is running the same build as any windows pc. However, your tablet should have palm rejection. So if you keep your hand on the screen it should not make any new points. But if you use your finger instead, it will detect is as an input. Thanks, Gabe.
  11. Hi @ACD0236, Welcome to the forum. This is probably because Bootcamp support software has not been updated since 2015, so it probably loads some generic drivers. See below: https://support.apple.com/downloads/macoscomponents I suggest you give our mac version a go and compare it to the windows one. Let us know how that goes. https://affinity.serif.com/signup/trial/photo/ Thanks, Gabe.
  12. Hi @Amitashi, Open up the snapping dialogue and make sure you have "snap to object bounding boxes" on. Or you can choose the Object creation preset and adjust the other settings to fit your needs. Thanks, Gabe.
  13. Hi @Neshiah474, The feather selection tool works the other way around. You set the feather first and then make a selection. Have a look here on our selection guides for more info Selections and Masking Making Selections Refining Selections Pixel Selections from Layers Quick Masks Mask Layers Exposure Merging Clipping vs Masking Vector Masking Using Adjustment Layers on Masks - YouTube / Vimeo Thanks, Gabe.
  14. I tried braking it as well and still no luck. At this point @frankstallone it would be helpful if you could share the broken symbol with us so we can have a look. You can use the link below to upload the .afdesign file. It would be an internal access and only staff can see the content. However, if you decide not to share the file, there is little we can do to replicate the issue, and therefore little we can do to help you solve it. https://www.dropbox.com/request/rpDVfLVADO8XGEaWA3tb Thanks, Gabe.
  15. Hi @frankstallone, A broken orange line means that some features are not synced. If you need to see what features, hover your mouse over the element with the broken line and it will tell you what it is. It's hard to tell what's synced and what's not in your file without seeing it. I suggest you watch this video to understand how symbols work: Thanks, Gabe.
  16. A bit more research on skin-tones. Any thoughts?
  17. Hi @RayBan, Welcome to the forums. You can use the Spyder pro but only if you can export the colour profile as an ICC. It does not work as a "preset", unfortunately. As for the picture style, that only applies to jpeg files, not to the RAW ones. Thanks, Gabe
  18. Hi @ScoutPro, Welcome to the forums. A quick answer would be no. Affinity does not have a built-in 360 panorama stitch. You can edit Panoramas 360x180 as an equirectangular image, but you cannot create a 360 "spherical" panorama from individual photos, as it requires addition exif info from a 360 camera. You can, however, edit any stitched 360 panoramas in Affinity. See below for tutorials: Thanks, Gabe.
  19. Hi @PhooManChew, Welcome to the forums. I've PM you the direct link to download it. Thanks, Gabe.
  20. Hi Bart, Welcome to the forums. You can rotate the image in Develop Photo Persona by going to Document>Rotate - bottom of the list- . The "rotate" option under view is just for viewing the image while in Affinity. When you export it will not remember the rotation. Thanks, Gabe.
  21. Hi @Kiarian, You can do this with the help of Symbols. Bring up the panel from View>Studio>Symbols. Check below for an example. Duplicate power.mov Thanks, Gabe.
  22. At the moment there is no option to reset the bounding box on iPad, as it is on the Desktop version with the " . " (full stop) key. I will log this with our devs as an improvement
  23. @EZeemering , i started to work on the skin tones now :D. Any thoughts?
