Large artwork images
Gabe replied to danhobday's topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on iPad Questions
Hi @danhobday, Welcome to the forums. You can change it on the iPad, sure. 16x20 inch 300dpi would be 4800x6000px so you will be fine with the resolution. Thanks, Gabe. -

Setting Black, Gray and White point
Gabe replied to Petar Petrenko's topic in Older Feedback & Suggestion Posts
Hi @Petar Petrenko, I'm afraid we do not have this option. You can hold down ALT while moving the sliders and you should get a preview of the areas that clip. This way you can drag until your black and white areas just clip and you're good to go. Thanks, Gabe. -
Hi @lettergothic, Just adding a bit more to @GarryP, answer. No. You cannot add rows or columns. However, you can add a gutter grid. Go to View > Grid and Axis Manager > Mode: Advanced. Have a look here for more info on grids : • Grids: Icon Design • Grids: Floor Plans • Isometric Grid Drawings: Part 1 (Single Planes) • Isometric Grid Drawings: Part 2 (Multiple Planes) • Isometric Grid Drawings: Part 3 (Layers and Compounds) • Grids: Coloured Lines (1.5) Thanks, Gabe.

If you're exporting for Viewing/sharing, you would need to export and work in sRGB. There's no need to work on custom profiles as any flatten images ( png, jpeg) will be displayed in sRGB anyways. If you're half way through a pipeline and you need to export the files in a specific colour format ( linear, rec709 ) you will need to view and work in a linear model. For export and web sharing you would need something like this: 32 bit preview>ICC Display Transform or OCIO sRGB . In the OCIO adjustment layer, you would need the source matching the source OCIO ( the one used in Blender) and the destination, sRGB. For pipeline workflow, 32 bit preview>OCIO required DESTINATION PROFILE. In the OCIO adjustment layer, you would need the source matching the source OCIO ( the one used in Blender) and the destination, the OCIO required for the destination, matching the 32bit preview. The destination should always match the 32 bit preview, to ensure that what you're exporting matches what you see on the screen.

You can switch the RAW engine from Apple to SerifLabs in Develop Assistant(suit like icon in the top right toolbar) and you should be fine. Both files you attached opened correctly.

Why Develop Persona?
Gabe replied to FrankL0's topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Hi @FrankL0, I have moved your post to our Questions section. Develop persona has dedicated tools adjusting the initial parameters of a photo(exposure, shadows, highlights, lens corrections, etc), without having to create layers or additional copies of the image. Have a look here: RAW Development Raw: Discover Develop Raw: Developing Images Raw: Overlays Raw: Redeveloping Images Raw: Noise Reduction Maximising Raw Latitude Custom Tone Curve Raw Development Quality 32-bit Raw Development - YouTube / Vimeo Raw Colour Quality Automatic Lens Corrections Raw: Recovering Overexposed Highlights Raw: Exposure Bias Thanks, Gabe
