  1. Embed ICC profile—when selected, the ICC profile is included within the exported image's data, allowing the image to be viewed using the correct profile on any device. If this option is off, the viewing device must possess the ICC profile otherwise a substitute profile is used. So, the answer is no. You cannot export an image without a valid ICC profile.
  2. Hi Mareck, You can do this by unticking "Embed ICC profile" in File>Export>More>Embed ICC profile. Thanks, Gabe.
  3. Hi @Barry Gibbs Welcome to the forums. To paint from history or a saved snapshot: 1.Display the History or Snapshot panel. 2.Click the Undo Brush Source camera icon on the history state or snapshot you want to paint back to. 3.Begin painting with the Undo Brush Tool. Thanks, Gabe.
  4. Any issues with installing from MS store would have to be addressed directly to Microsoft. Unfortunately, we have no control over their install process as it's all sandboxed. 0x803F8001 is Microsoft specific. As mentioned above, the error would be "outside" of Affinity.
  5. Hi Hannah, Do you see the picture sharp in the Preview window? ( Photo Viewer) Can you attach the image and a link to the web-page so we can have a look? Resizing to a smaller size (in px) will increase the sharpness. So technically, a 200px will not be as sharp as a 400px resized to 200px. Thanks, Gabe.
  6. Hi @Dumpfbacke, Welcome to the forums. You have to change the fill more to even-odd. Layer > Fill mode > Alternate . Thanks, Gabe.
  7. Hi @RobNJ, I'm afraid you cannot re-arrange Brushes. Sorry Thanks, Gabe.
  8. Hi @Markeeee, Can you explain a bit more what is it that you want to achieve? What is your workflow for the duotone? Thanks, Gabe.
  9. Hi @Markeeee, Basic shapes should work, but any adobe specific might not. It is not generally advised to copy/ paste. You would be better off to export ( pdf, svg, eps) and import when needed. Thanks, Gabe.
  10. Hi Alfred This is not a feature present in Affinity Photo(neither Desktop nor iPad). I will move this to the correct topic. Cheers, Gabe.
  11. If it's Microsoft Store version, we have no control over the install as it's all sandboxed by Microsoft. If it's our store, you can change the directory during the install.
  12. Hi @mku, Welcome to the forums. No, you cannot change the temp and cache locations from within affinity. They will install by default in your temp / cache windows folder. Thanks Gabe.
  13. That's why it's a lot easier to work on parent/child configurations when it comes to this.
  14. The Fill tool will "fill" the object. You cannot lock the texture. You will have to work on parent/layers to achieve what you want.
  15. I printed your file from both Mac and Windows with no issues. "The document could not be saved. An internal error occurred" is generated by Adobe, when you either print to a virtual printer or when you made changes to the document ( mark-up, highlight) and it could not save it.
  16. Hi @IcyPRO, With the parent layer selected, tick "lock children" and the pattern will not resize. Thanks, Gabe.
  17. Salut @YM Hue, Bienvenue sur le forum. Quel est le modèle d'appareil photo? Merci, Gabe.
  18. Hi @talleycat2006, That path does not look like the default install one. Did you change any major hardware in the meantime? CPU/Motherboard? Can you please uninstall the app and re-install it? Thanks, Gabe.
  19. Hi @Avg1995, Are you definitely sending it to the right printer? That error usually occurs when you try to send it to a virtual printer ( Adobe Pdf for example ) Can you attach the pdf so we can have a look? Thanks, Gabe.
  20. Hi @Futuremoose, Welcome to the forums. You can use the "Place" option from the file menu. This will create a new layer with the new document embedded. Or, you can open the new document on a separate tab, copy the layers and paste them on the other tab of your "old" project. Thanks, Gabe.
  21. Hi @Wosven, You can use them on the desktop, but they will not have exactly the same functionality because they were designed to work with the pen tool. You will not benefit from any of the tilt effects. You can download them from this link: https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/ipad-update/ Thanks, Gabe.
