Hi TomášN, Welcome to the forums. In the first picture, if you're talking about the red/green line, they are just snapping guides. Have a look at these tutorials: • Snapping and Dynamic Guides (1.5) • Snapping: Candidates (1.5) • Snapping: Object Creation (1.5) • Snapping: UI and Web Design (1.5) As for your second questions, I'm not really sure what do you mean by : Thanks, Gabe.

Noob Questions
Gabe replied to etecoon3's topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Hi @etecoon3, Welcome to the forums. 1. Unless you're holding your pen "upside down" this should not happen. Make sure you have all the drivers installed properly. 2. Switch brush button - If that has a key bind to it, you will probably have to change it in its software and then assign that key in Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts. Or, you can try to assign the button itsef in Affinity. Go to Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts. You will find everything here. Thanks, Gabe. -
Hi @FarFromSane, There is nothing "wrong" with the photo. The mode you selected, Outlier—exposes pixel content that differs in each image. So it's working correctly. If you want a cleaner look, you will have to manually mask out the areas. Duplicate the Stack, go to Arrange > Ungroup . Mask out the pixelated areas using masks and selections. Thanks, Gabe.

I was referring to @siwyjaszy , sorry :). The "inherit" should work on the latest versions, both mac and windows.

Hi paul, It's hard to say yes or no as it really depends on the files and layers you're working on. Live filters, for example, will have a great impact on performance. More, it's not that it will not handle it, it's about how fast or slow it will handle it. Some operations will take longer than others. Also, bear in mind that you're gonna be working on an 80Mp image on a mobile device, and you will not have the same response as the desktop. You're basically limited by the hardware, not by the software itself. Thanks, Gabe.

This is a bug that was fixed in the current public beta. Basically, this is caused by the bleeds. It ignores the artboard and it prints everything that's within the bleed size around the document. An easy workaround would be to move the artbaoards at least the bleed size( 3mm in this case) apart. I've tested it on the latest public beta and it's all fixed. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/forum/32-affinity-beta-support/

Hi mannyc, Welcome to the forums. It would be a lot easier if you attach a full-size image, as the one you posted is only 300px and it's hard to see what you describe. The .afdesign project file will help as well. Thanks, Gabe.

Fill curves shape
Gabe replied to Marinio's topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
You cannot "fill" the middle of that flower because of the " closed shape". Your close shape is the outline. You will have to Divide this shape first. Select it and Divide it using the boolean tools. . The last layer in the stack should be the outline. The rest would be the inner parts. -
Fill curves shape
Gabe replied to Marinio's topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Hi @Marinio, Welcome to the forums You have created an artboard from your object, and the stroke will not work on an artboard. You will have to convert it back to object by going to Layer > Convert Artboard to object. Thanks, Gabe.
