  1. Hi @Jake Kerr, Welcome to the forums. If it's a selection from one layer, you can simply go to the Selection Persona, make your selection, go back to Photo Persona, switch to Move Tool and you can "free" transform it. If it's a selection of layers, select the layers from your layer panel, select the Move Tool and adjust it. Thanks, Gabe.
  2. Hi @Talika Fuks, Welcome to the forums. I'm afraid we do not have any "built-in" blur around the edges. An easy way would be to create a blur layer and mask it with a clipping mask. Thanks, Gabe.
  3. Hi @PLShutterbug, Welcome to the forums. You can use the in-painting tool, or the clone brush tool to get rid of them. Thanks, Gabe.
  4. Hi @markuswaeger I'm afraid there is no info panel on the iPad. The only work around would be to open the Colour Studio, Pick the colour, select it and check the values. I will log this as an improvement. Thanks, Gabe. Moved to feature requests.
  5. Hi @DarkerBlack, You can show clipping areas by toggling the Show Clipped Highlights: Thanks, Gabe.
  6. Your document setup and export is not consistent. Select the move tool ( v ) , click on Document Setup. Check the DPI value. This value should match the DPI value when you export. Otherwise, you will have a different size, and pixel misalignment.
  7. Hi @smth , Can you please attach the file so we can have a look? That 0.5px is usually the case if you don't use integer values for your design. Thanks, Gabe.
  8. Hi @Lobsang Karma, Welcome to the forums. You cannot really create multiple curves with just one brush stroke. You would have to manually adjust them. You can create a brush and paint with it, ( let's say 6 coloured dots and use it as a preset) but you will not be able to edit the colour individually later on. Thanks, Gabe.
  9. Hi @Tiagosa, Welcome to the forums. Do you send the print to a professional CMYK printer? Or is it just a standard desktop printer? I'm asking because the process would be different. Thanks, Gabe.
  10. Hi @LEE SHELDON, Welcome to the forums. Did you struggle with any specific tutorials? I'm pretty sure they cover every step you need to take from start to finish. Thanks, Gabe.
  11. Hi @neville, I'm afraid we cannot deny or confirm this. We shall wait till Monday. Sorry Thanks, Gabe.
  12. Hi @Ekrynox, Welcome to the forums. When you preview the file, Windows will load the embedded Jpeg, not the proper RAW. What I suggest is to open a raw file, Click on the Develop Assistant (tuxedo icon) and make sure that "Tone Curve" is set to "Apply tone curve". Close the file, re-open it and you should notice a difference. Thanks, Gabe.
  13. Hallo, Willkommen in den Foren. Kannst du uns bitte eine Videoaufnahm dieses Verhaltens schicken? Ich konnte es nicht replizieren. Danke vielmals, Gabe.
  14. Hi all, The "problem" is that your document is in 16bit/RGB, and the standard preview on mac does not support 16bit images in PDF. At this point, you have 3 choices: Use Adobe Acrobat Reader to preview and print your documents (or any other software that supports 16 bit) Export as PDF > More > Compatibility > PDF 1.4 (this version only supports 8bit and will convert any 16 or higher to 8) Change your document to 8bit in Document Setup Thanks, Gabe.
  15. @heskphotography, did you purchase the software from our store?
  16. Hi thomasbrigantino, Welcome to the forums. When you open the Tone-mapping persona, by default it will add some adjustments. You can untick the box to make that adjustment off, or you can reset it by pressing the curved arrow reset button. Thanks, Gabe.
  17. Hi Paul, I'm afraid you cannot hide a selection in Affinity. See MEB's reply below. I was actually thinking that you cannot do it with CTRL-H and forgot to mention the other half - SORRY -. These are all our official tutorials: Thanks, Gabe.
  18. Hi Paul, Welcome to the forums. Yes, you can export the images as tif. Go to File > Export and choose Tiff. As for the size in mb, it really depends what do you export them as, if you have any metadata, quality, etc. Thanks, Gabe.
  19. Hi Werkzeugkram, Welcome to the forums. What tool do you use? Flood select tool? Selection Brush Tool? Freehand selection tool? Thanks, Gabe.
  20. Hi ADW, Welcome to the forums. Can you please try to save that file locally on your iPad. Next, open the photo from local storage ( rather than the cloud). This should fix any issues. As for the raw engine, you can only change it on the desktop app, not on the mobile. For iOS, we only rely on Apple's RAW engine. Let us know how it goes. Thanks, Gabe.
  21. Hi m-verleih.de, Welcome to the forums. I believe the issue might actually be with the PSD import. Some functions don't seem to import properly, and the "style" is not imported properly. An easy workaround would be to create any shape, then copy it. Select the text layer, go to Edit > Paste Style. Now you can fully edit it. Can you please attach the .psd file so we can have a look? Thanks, Gabe.
  22. Hi Instanes, If you're on a Mac, that would be your "Highlight" colour in System Preferences > General. Change it to a different colour, restart Affinity and it should be changed. Thanks, Gabe.
  23. Hi ellewarren, Welcome to the forums. Check your fill mode in Layer > Fill Mode. It should be set to Alternate. Export the SVG again and see how it goes. if you still have issues, can you please attach the .afdesign file so we can have a look? Thanks, Gabe.
