Hi @Mare,
Welcome to the forums.
We would need more details from you:
- What App did you buy? Affinity Photo? Designer?
- What platform? Windows, Mac, iPad?

i'm not able to execute affinity because of an app issue
What is the issue? Do you get any error messages? If so, can you attach a screenshot?
-
What have you tried to far to fix the issue?
Thanks,
Gabe.

Hi @Lonely Tears,
The Lighting filter is applied to a raster layer. You can export that layer if you wish. But the lighting filter cannot be exported on its own.
Thanks,
Gabe.

Your lens is not on our supported list. You would have to manually correct this using the Lens studio ( Distortion, Post Crop Vignette, Noise Reduction, etc ) in Develop Persona. We cannot say how other programs load the file, but some will load the embedded jpeg for preview. We do not take this into account and only load the RAW, unmodified file.

Hi @ThomasAn.,
Welcome to the forums.
That would be the only way. Alternatively, you can use the transparency tool ( y)- in vector persona- to create a transparent gradient.
Thanks,
Gabe.

Hi @Bing LIANG,
Welcome to the forums.
In the first photo, it's clear that you've done some touch-up work to it. The fat granules are removed and there's a red patch just below the eye.
If you upload the non-retouched photos we can have a look for you
Thanks,
Gabe.

Hi @jizhideyanshu,
Welcome to the forums.
We cannot export to PSD and preserve the editability of the text. A workaround would be to export as PDF.
As for the issue with the text not being within the border, I'm not really sure what you mean by that. The word "button" is within the text frame. Not all the letters will "fill" the text frame but that is not an App issue, but how the font is designed.
Thanks,
Gabe.

I can move this to our feature request for you

Hi @Glenn,
How did you revert/reset? Undo? DId you check the History Studio in case you "missed" an undo step?
Thanks,
Gabe.

Hi @Juergie,
Welcome to the forums.
We hope to get more cameras supported in the future. However, I'm afraid we do not have an ETA for this camera model.Sorry.
Thanks,
Gabe.

Hi @Clarity,
Welcome to the forums.
When you say the first photo is the "original", what do you use to preview it? Affinity will load the RAW file, not the embedded Jpeg, so you will see some differences. If you have any in-camera adjustments ( contrast, saturation, NR, etc) they will not show up in the RAW file. It would be a lot easier if you were to upload some sample files. You can use our dropbox account:

Hi @silence ,
Do you use a graphics tablet with pen/pressure?
Does that artefact only happen at the end of the stroke?
Thanks,
Gabe.

Hi @GVW,
Welcome to the forums.
How do you print exactly? File > Print? Or do you export from Affinity and print using a 3rd party app?
What colour format is your document? What printer have you got? Have you got the printer drivers installed properly?
Have a look at these:
Colour Management
- OpenColorIO Setup
- OpenColorIO Adjustment
- Soft Proofing
- Printing on Mac
- Printing on Windows
- Wide Colour Profiles vs sRGB - YouTube / Vimeo
Thanks,
Gabe.

Hi @strobeiw,
Welcome to the forums.
I'm afraid no. Affinity for iOS is only compatible with iPad Air 2, iPad 2017, iPad 2018, iPad Pro 9.7-inch, 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch.
Thanks,
Gabe.

Hi
Welcome to the forums.
I suggest you change your username to avoid any spamming.
You can rasterise an image as a mask. Select that layer then go to menu Layer > Rasterise to Mask. You can then mask that layer using the new "mask" layer.
Thanks,
Gabe.

Hi @blanko ,
Welcome to the forums.
I'm afraid we do not have an equivalent. The closest one would be Divide. Sorry.
Thanks,
Gabe.

Yep. My mistake. Back to questions now

Hi @rpomeroy,
Welcome to the forums.
I'm afraid we do not have the Macro recording function in Affinity Designer. However, you can try recording macros in Photo:

I could not replicate this. Can you please send us a screen recording when this happens so we can have a look?

Hi @Pfifferling,
Welcome to the forums.
Can you please re-attach the photo so we can have a look? The first photo is unavailable.

Hi @firewater,
To backup such settings before resetting the app, please watch our Affinity - Exporting User Settings and Keyboard Shortcuts video.Thanks,Gabe. -
Hi @cditfurth,
Welcome to the forums.
Our shortcut for changing size/opacity would be ALT + Left click + Right click Drag. Vertical drag for hardness, horizontal drag for size. As for the tablet weird behaviour, I'm not really sure. We do not do anything specific for tablets. If you have the drivers installed correctly, it should work fine.
Have you got Synergy ( Symless now) installed?
Thanks,
Gabe.

Help!! Edited Images look different and worse on the smartphone, Really Frustrating

Hi @Phuuul,
Welcome to the forums.
It sounds like your monitor is not calibrated properly. You do not have white in your picture, but more of a green-yellow colour.
See the colour sample in the top right.
More, smartphones screens are the worst devices to check against for proper colour management. They usually have over-saturated colours and intelligent ambient light which make the images look more vivid than they actually are.
Thanks,
Gabe.
