  1. Hi @Glenn, The native iPad resolution is not 6 x 4 inch. So that's why you see your document not being displayed correctly. More, your navigator is set to 50%, and not 100%. As for the grid, it seems to be a bug linked to the document's DPI. If you lower the DPI to 265, you would be able to set the grid to 1 inch. I will log this with our devs. Thanks, Gabe.
  2. Hi @Ken Lecoq, Welcome to the forums. The first cause would be the limited CMYK gamut. CMYK covers a lot less colour information than RGB. # The next one would be your workflow. You have a 32bit/RGBA document, and you make adjustments on CMYK 8 bit. You would have to either work on RBG or CMYK from start to finish, or you will have artefacts. Thanks, Gabe.
  3. Hi @Mosrod, Welcome to the forums. You would have to rotate and skew by + or - 30° to get the planes to align. Right would be R:30, S:-30 Left would be R:-30, S:30 Top would really depend on your orientation. Both 30 or both -30 Thanks, Gabe.
  4. Hi @Sjak GFX, Welcome to the forums. When you copy the files on your clipboard, you can go to File > New from clipboard. This will create a new document with the contents of your clipboard. Thanks, Gabe.
  5. Hi @Grarm, Welcome to the forums. There is no easy(automated) way to do it. You would have to import the photo, Invert the colours and use the level adjustments to get rid of the blue tint. You can always try the auto-correction buttons after you invert the colours and see if they fix it. Thanks, Gabe.
  6. Hi @damirexus, Welcome to the forums. The guides and distances will only show if you have snapping on. Thanks, Gabe.
  7. Hi @midiankai, Welcome to the forums. You can work with spot and global colours. Select the objects you want to colour, assign a global spot colour to it. When you export, make sure you click on "more" and tick "honour spot colours". Global, Spot and Overprint Colours Thanks, Gabe.
  8. I'm afraid you cannot save the UI for later use. Sorry moved to feature requests
  9. Hi @markbowen, Both Photo and Designer have been designed to be used with the Apple Pencil. At the moment, we cannot guarantee the functionality of any other 3rd party pencils. It might fully work, it might partially work, or it might not work at all. Sorry. Thanks, Gabe.
  10. Hi @Robert Borges, Welcome to the forums. You can simply double-click on the .afdesign file, or you can open Affinity Designer, and go to File > Open. Thanks, Gabe.
  11. Hi @SunRiseMoon, The UI does not reset unless you manually reset it. Is there any specific reason you want to "save as" ? Thanks, Gabe.
  12. Thanks :). Nothing wrong with it. It's just how PDF is being rendered on the screen.
  13. Hi @gruchabighomie, Can you please attach the .afdesign and the pdf so we can have a look? Thanks, Gabe.
  14. @Glenn That's because your transparency only starts halfway through the rectangle
  15. Hi @markbowen, The line that shows up it's just a redraw issue. In your PDF, it only shows up at 600% zoom, which would be expected, because that is not a solid piece. There is nothing wrong, it's just how it's rendered on the screen. Thanks, Gabe.
  16. Hi @willtoni, Welcome to the forums. I suggest you check this out. It explains the workflow really good: Printing on Mac Printing on Windows Thanks, Gabe.
  17. Hi @Brammy, I'm afraid we do not support z-maps for blur. Our blur can only be applied globally, and not selectively using a z-map. Sorry. Thanks, Gabe.
  18. Hi all, This issue has already been logged with our developers and it will be rectified. However, we do not have an ETA. Sorry.
  19. You would have to manually apply lens correction when you need it. You can save that as a preset, but it would be a manual process ( applying the lens correction)
  20. Hi @Mezzanine, Welcome to the forums. I'm afraid on this forum we only support Affinity products - Affinity Designer and Affinity photo. For any legacy issues, I suggest you either: Post on the correct forum: https://community.serif.com/ Raise a support ticket: http://support.serif.com/Main/frmNewTicket.aspx Thanks, Gabe
  21. Hi @snotolf, Welcome to the forums. You can set Document or Application Pallete. Also, have a look at this video. Even though this shows Affinity Designer, it's the same process in Affinity Photo. Thanks, Gabe.
  22. HI @Allen123 , Welcome to the forums. Yes, you are right. You would have to Export the file via File > Export, or using the Export Persona. If you just save, it will save as a native affinty file. Thanks, Gabe.
