  1. Hi @Chezqui, To break a node, You select the node tool, then tap the node you want to break, on the bottom menu, tap on the right arrow, and tap on break. Thanks, Gabe.
  2. Hi @TestTools, I've had a look at your files. The "centred" group it is but it's not centred. By this, I mean the curve/line is "centred" in between 2 pixels. With a 1 px stroke, the edges of your stoke would fall .5 pixels to the left and right of the curve. The easiest way to visualise this is to turn the grid on with 1 px spacing and 1 division. Because your edges fall in between the pixels, you would get a blurry gray overall image. Thanks, Gabe.
  3. Hi @ApvdG , That really depends on your photo, the adjustments you make, etc. Without more information, it's hard to guess what's happening to your file. If you attach the photo or the .afphoto project file we can have a look for you. Thanks, Gabe.
  4. Hi @Murilo, Welcome to the forums. On Windows, we do not support it yet, and I'm afraid we do not have an ETA. However, if you're on MAC, you can change the RAW engine in the Develop Assistant to Apple RAW and that should work fine. Thanks, Gabe.
  5. Again. The top photo is edited/altered, the bottom one is not. We cannot investigate the issue unless you upload the RAW CR2 file.
  6. Hi @J a n, Designer and Photo project files are fully compatible across platforms. As for the Tablet/pencil, we cannot say if it's suitable for you or not but bear in mind that we only support the Apple Pencil. We cannot guarantee the functionality of any other 3rd party pencils. Thanks, Gabe.
  7. Or, an even easier method would be to select a face or a region you want to blur, go to "Layer > New Live Filter > Blur ". You can then paint with black and white on that new mask to add or remove blurry areas.
  8. I have already logged the grid issue. Somehow the max value for grid spacing is determined by the DPI value. For future reference, the resolution is determined by height and weight in pixels, while DPI/PPI determines the density of dots per inch - or pixel per inch considering your tablet. I believe you got them a bit mixed up
  9. Hi @TriumphFriend, The easiest way would be to duplicate your layer, Apply blur on the new layer created, and use a clipping mask to "mask" the areas you need. Thanks, Gabe.
  10. Hi @vdreams, If you only have one background layer, you cannot mix and match layers for one slice. What you can do is duplicate the background for each instance of the text. Group them together and export a slice of the group. Thanks, Gabe.
  11. We could not replicate this issue. Any chance you could do a screen recording with all the steps you take, including the method you use to take the screenshot? We could try to replicate it if we've got your step-by-step video.
  12. Hi @jtmkoenig, Welcome to the forums. Let's try to reset the app. You can reset your app back to its default settings by holding down the CTRL key while launching the app. When the Clear User Data window appears, click Select All and then Clear. The app will now open. Be aware that resetting your app back to its default settings will lose any custom settings such as keyboard shortcuts and brushes etc. To backup such settings before resetting the app, please watch our Affinity - Exporting User Settings and Keyboard Shortcuts video. Thanks, Gabe.
  13. Hi @Jim Williams, We are aware of this and it has already been logged with our developers. We hope to get it fixed in future updates. Thanks, Gabe.
  14. Hi @Schunka, Welcome to the forums. Can you please save that file as .afphoto and attach it here? Thanks, Gabe.
  15. The screenshot you attached earlier is clearly from a RAW file - Nikon D3100. Also, the tiff you have uploaded to Dropbox has got no colour profile assigned to it and it does not open correctly. You would need to zip the file you originally had issues with (the one with the potatoes on the plate - with no alterations made to it) and upload it on our dropbox. Otherwise, I'm afraid we cannot help. Most likely it's a colour profile issue as in your second screenshot you're using Display P3 as the profile. Have you got a monitor that can fully display P3?
  16. @kkiamhere, are we talking about a RAW issue or a colour shift issue on a jpeg file? Whichever case, you uploaded the wrong file (a .tiff file, not a .nef file)
  17. Hi @Colin Fursman, Welcome to the forums. There is no automated paste inside a selection, but there is a workaround: moved to feature requests Thanks, Gabe.
  18. Hi @5argon, Welcome to the forums. You can change the viewport resample to Nearest Neighbour by going to Preferences > Performance > View Quality. Make sure you change the resample method to Nearest Neighbour as well. You can't currently achieve the "Nearest neighbour" stretch. We are aware of this and it has already been logged with our developers. Thanks, Gabe.
  19. Can you please either upload the .afphoto project file, or a zip with the original image? You can use our dropbox account for upload: https://www.dropbox.com/request/JJkfSTNLaRnOXb7cd7rp
  20. Hi @kkiamhere, Welcome to the forums. Can you please attach the file so we can have a look for you? Thanks, Gabe.
