  1. =After further investigations, it is not actually zoom-related, but Artboard related. If the artboard is preset in the viewport, the selection appears. If you have no artboard in the viewport, it does not show. I will log this with our developers.
  2. Currently, it's broken, but these should all be fixed in the next beta release.
  3. Hi @Silvia, It might be just a coincidence. 1.6 and 1.7 are different apps and do not share any files/settings. Technically it would be the impossible one breaking the other. Just to double check, try this: Close Photo . Open Finder. Go > Go to Folder > ~/Library/Containers/com.seriflabs.affinityphoto/Data/Library/Application Support/ and rename user to user.backup. Reopen Photo. Thanks, Gabe.
  4. Hi @Dazmondo77 , Mine works fine on Designer 1.7.0.9. Can you please attach a screen recording with this in action, in Design 1.7.0.9? Thanks, Gabe.
  5. Hi @Fantomasas, Can you please confirm if this is a beta-only issue? Does the 1.6 release work fine with the same fonts? Thanks, Gabe.
  6. Thanks for your help with this bug. We have now resolved the problem and will make the fix available in the next Windows release. For the meantime, navigate to %AppData%\Affinity\Designer\1.0 (Beta)\temp and delete any files from this folder.
  7. Hi @MartinsRibeiro, Thanks for spotting this. I have logged it with our developers. Gabe.
  8. Hi @Frank Jonen, Can you please provide us with some samples? I could not replicate this. Thanks, Gabe.
  9. Hi @Carrie1959, Can you please send us a screen recording of this in action? Thanks, Gabe.
  10. Hi both, Can you please navigate to %AppData%\Affinity\Designer\1.0 (Beta)\temp and delete any files you find inside this folder. Thanks, Gabe.
  11. It turns out it's not actually a bug, but just working slightly different. We've changed some things on how the gradient( and nodes on the gradient) work and this issue should be fixed. We should be releasing the new build to the forums soon.
  12. Yes and no. DPI on its own does not have any effect on pixels. You can have 1DPI or 1 million DPI, if you keep the resolution 1920x1080, it will have the same amount of pixels. You would need to know the print size and the required DPI, so you can work out the required pixel resolution.
  13. Hi @Murfee, Welcome to the forums. I've logged this with our developers. Thanks, Gabe.
  14. Hi @hr.mu, Are you remoting in when you see those artefacts? Thanks, Gabe?
  15. Hi both, While investigating this I've found a different issue, and I logged it with our developers. Thanks, Gabe.
  16. Thanks. I suggest you rasterise that layer. Your document is only 1920 x 1080 @ 72 dpi so there is no reason why you would want to keep it as 6000 DPI. Rasterise the layer before the live perspective filter and you should be fine
  17. Hi @Herojas93, Can you please attach the .afphoto file? Save before you used the Perspective tool. Thanks, Gabe.
  18. Hi @TEcHNOpls, The help is actually right. The Live filter is wrong. In 1.7, we have re-written the filters. For some reason, when using the liver filter button from the layers panel, it uses the old filter. The new implementation can be added through the Layer>New Live Filter Layer top menu. I've logged this with our developers. Thanks, Gabe.
  19. Hi @Amosjl, We are aware of this issue and it has already been logged with our developers. Thanks, Gabe.
  20. Hi @NPS-MRY, Welcome to the forums. Can you constantly replicate this? If so, can you attach a screen recording of this in action? Thanks, Gabe.
  21. Hi @Guzzi, So that we are able to investigate bugs thoroughly could you please follow this link and update this post with the followings: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/forum/38-bugs-in-affinity-designer-affinity-photo/ Thanks, Gabe.
  22. Hi all, Just to confirm. Lock children for Groups was not an option in 1.6, is not an option in 1.7 and will not be an option in the future, as it's not needed. There is no reason why you would need to move an "invisible" container and leave its contents in place. I have closed this as "by design". Thanks, Gabe,
