Thanks Alfred and R C-R for the info. One last question about Upgrades... is there a time frame to when the upgrades between Newer versions are released? Some companies provide upgrades once a year... is AffinityPhoto due for an upgrade to version 2 soon? I don't want to buy the current latest version1 of AP and find out in a month or two that the release of a Newer version 2 is going to be released.

Thanks Alfred for the info and welcome to the forum. What would I have to do if there are any updates to AffinityPhoto. I assume that just ordinary updates would probably be downloaded thru the software program of AP on my Mac? But what if there is a Major update that requires me to purchase it? Do I have to go to the Mac App Store and purchase it thru them? Would a major update cost the same as the original price I paid.... or do previous owners/users get a discount price.... and what is the procedure for that kind of update thru the Mac App Store? Thanks for your help.

I'm considering purchasing AffinityPhoto for my Mac after using the AP 10 day trial period. What are the procedures for activating my purchase from the trial app? Do I have to buy AP from the Apple store before my 10 day trial runs out or can I still activate it after my 10 day trial does expire? Are there any other Affinity accounts I have to create to be able to activate my purchase? If there is any other information about this that I may not have asked please provide all the info necessary too have a smooth download and activation process. Thanks
