Acquiring photo from my D7000 doesn't work

lostinphotography posted a topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

I just downloaded Affinity photo and can't acquire photos from y D7000. It just doesn't recognize the device. I am working on a MacBook Pro. Anyone can solve the problem or I just lost $49 dollars?
