I have been hoping they have plans for this. If not, it should be seriously considered. The number of Windows Ink capable devices is growing. I got a laptop with pen functionality specifically for tools like Designer. The iPad interface looks like it works really well in that workflow.

We need canvas rotation. Not having it is like owning a a Ferrari you can only drive in a straight line ;^)

I agree with this. I was hoping if Affinity Designer could implement hand gestures like the ones on the iPad. I use a Microsoft Surface Book, so when I use the touchscreen I detach it from the keyboard, and let me tell you, it is not convenient to go to Edit>Undo every single time I want to undo one action.

Hello, I'm new to the community but very interested in Affinity Designer.
I recently purchased a Surface Pro in hopes to do art with the ease of portability. I already have a desktop computer with a Wacom monitor. I know there is Affinity Photo for Ipad, and I was wondering about the optimization for other tablets.  I have access to the Microsoft Store where I can get the app. I'm unsure about whether I should purchase the program from the Affinity Store, Microsoft Store, the difference in updates and optimization  between stores if any, and if I should wait to see if an app specifically designated for non-Apple tablets will develop or if the program now is sufficient. I'm also concerned about purchasing the program for the Surface Pro and then wanting to work on my desktop. Would I have to purchase it for each workspace or be able to share between the two?
Any information and advice would be helpful, thanks!

The new Affinity designer for iPad looks and feels awesome.
I would love to see a similar version of the Designer on Windows 10 which uses the full potential of the Windows 10 touch functionalities. A direct copy of the iPad UI could be awesome.

    Hi
I am pretty sure to migrate from photoshop to Affinity Photo for two reasons:
    - I can not stand the Adobe policy anymore.
    - I can see a very active forum for Affinity product, like a lot of good freewares or Vegas Pro.
Then, I make my first topic:
The Move Tool is not complete: If I drag a complete image holding Crtl, the Move Tool create a duplicate of the image and then I can move it letting the first untouched. Well.
But this feature don't works any more if I do the same thing with a selected part, the Ctrl key do nothing. I must before duplicate the selected part doing Crtl+J or Copy and Past.
I expect that it works wit a portion of the image too. A lot of software can do that. e.g.: Photoshop can do this holding the Alt key and drag and drop. Pressing Alt keu, even the cursor change appearance.
    Thank you
