  1. I saved the file, close Affinity Designer 2 and opened everything again. Only then I saw that it doesn't update after 21pt. You can do whatever with that. It doesn't change.
  2. My workflow after typing Sjerrie was that I can recall: Apply stroke directly to text Converted to curves Stroke disappeared so I tried applying stroke again and it just didn't work this time. Tried undoing and it just fails to undo so I tried working with what I have. Setting stroke at 1pt and setting stroke to 100pt. It just didnt work. As you can see on my screenshots that there's a white stroke applied. It only updates on the small preview in the layers panel when I adjust the size, but not on the main canvas.
  3. I am busy designing a label for a water bottle brand and the Sjerrie part which needs a stroke doesnt stroke when its needs to stroke.. So 1st Attempt. It stroked just fine when I applied a stroke directly on text. After that I converted the file to curves and the stroke just dissapears. I can see in he layer panel that its applying a stroke, but I can not see on the main doc how it is stroking. I saved the file to svg and opened it up in Inkscape. There the stroke is applied perfectly. I close Affinity Designer 2, reopened it and now the stroke does show how big its getting, but the measurements is all wrong. It keeps stating my stroke is 21pt, but when I click on it it gives me a whole different measurement. Reproducing it s a matter of trial & error... Sometimes it works fine, other times it breaks. You just have to play around with it until it actually breaks. Mac Mini M2 Mac OS Ventura 13.4.1 (c) (Attached screenshots are named on what is happening) Winpompsjerrie label.afdesign
  4. Not that I have seen nope, but not be able to read EPS files correctly can't be the only reason why Affinity is low priced. I experimented with alternatives like cloud converters and even Inkscape. They all open it the same way Affinity Designer does and they are all free.
  5. I created this document for work where I made multiple of the same flyers for different people. Now. I made changes to 1 of the pages and only wanted to export that current page. Exporting current page doesn't work on my side as explained in the video. Using Windows 10 Pro Affinity Publisher 1.8.5.703 2021-01-27_11-56-03.mp4
  6. This is a HUGE problem. It needs to be fixed and working as expected. I come from Adobe software to get rid of its subscription base business model, but it looks like I have to go back to just get EPS files to read right. So what's the point in having Affinity Designer / Photo? Other companies like Corel Draw got the AI and EPS files created in Adobe Illustrator to read and write. I expect Affinity Designer to do the same as that is why I purchased this software. The software is great for creating new content, but it lacks the opening of EPS files feature that was created in other software. What about the new designers? They see that Affinity software is affordable and now they purchased graphics on a site and expect to have that eps file in the zip file they downloaded to work. The majority of vector files on Freepik.com doesn't work in Affinity Designer / Photo.
  7. I have some compatibility issues with Affinity software. I will demonstrate this with files from freepik.com because it better explains the problem. Is there a workaround for this without using any alternative software? See images below When opening ai files it just doesnt show the actual graphic. Instead its showing me useless text. When opening the eps file in Affinity its like everything is merged. look at this image.. You can see the problem clearly when you remove the blocks. much closer
