  1. I wish to run text around a photo that has had the background cut out.

I have cut the background out of the photo (transparent) and exported it as a PNG.

When I bring the photo into publisher and clicked on text wrap, the wrapping goes around the original edge of the photo rather than the remaining cut out area.

I have tried exporting the cut out PNG from Affinity photo as a  whole document and selection without background without success.

    What am I doing wrong?

  2. The only way I have found to drag multiple photos into pre-drawn photo boxes is to have your photo folder on one screen (I am using Windows on a PC) and then you drag each file into pre-drawn photo boxes. However, compared to X9 this is not very efficient.

Once the photos are on the page, I can alter the size with the slider at the base of each photo (click on the photo to bring to highlight the photo). I have been unable to alter the position of each photo within the photo frame. In the middle of each photo is what looks to be how you would do so. A circle with four arrow heads showing direction. I have clicked on these but nothing happens.

  3. thanks for the reply.

I was able to drag the JPEGS to the asset folder, but was unable to place the photos in already drawn photo frames on the page. I was able to place one photo on an empty page, but not anymore. I use several photos on a page and in X9 was able to place photos (from the asset manager to already drawn photo frames on the page, one after another. It is an efficient way of doing so.

  4. I may have missed it, but is there a way of putting multiple JPEG  photos into the asset manager as you could with PagePlus X9 (I started with X3 many years ago). I may a photo folder in the asset manager, but when I tried to import a JPEG it only looked for files with a "afassets" file.   Having multiple photos in the X9 asset manager was saved so much time when producing a magazine.

    thanks
