Thank you John R. for the workaround. Yes, I know the way using TIFF. But FITS import would be a helpful feature.

Meanwhile I use the detour via TIFF format.

Great pictures. I'm interested in astrophotography as well and it would be very helpful to have a FITS import option in AP.

Having Affinity Photo capable to use the 10bpc output of my graphics adapter was the question. My hardware is - including the display. But how so switch to 10bpc output in Affinity? In PS you have to activate this feature as far as I remember.

Hello, having 10 bit per color available would be a great feature. I'm on win-64 using a NVidia Quadro 2000 display adaptor that supports it. And my monitors too.
