So the one thing that is sure is that Affinity MUST include AI tools or otherwise it will be doomed. Who would still buy a car without power steering?
Maybe an easy fix could be to include a plugin like Alpaca AI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4O07Zuy3uc

If I were Serif I would at least seriously consider adding AI assisted functions to the suit, particularly since AI recommender systems are capable of generating code on request, that may need a certain amount of tweaking, but most likely saves coders a lot of time and headaches, while extending the programs' possibilities significantly. It seems to me that AI assisted functions will become inevitable if they're not yet imperative already for surviving in the market segment of graphical art and design. I understand that from certain angles there may may arise discomfort or even opposition against incorporating AI based functionality, but programs operating in the design market have already opted to develop in that direction for equally good reason that may cause die hard supporters of exclusive human creativity to not use AI. The latter group may actually face the situation of dying hard if it persists in clinching to its principles in that field.

@VectorWhiz, I downloaded your original png image and applied a curves as close as I could to your one. What I got was this:

I have to admit that the solarised effect was more what I expected from the shape of the curve you depicted. It was nothing like the first image you showed.

The Curves Adjustment can be used in all programs in the suite to create bizarre colours, that normal people would not be able to invent, while being sober. The image below shows the end result:

Years ago I drew this image in Designer, using a somewhat standard skull that I found on the web. I removed the background by drawing a shape around it with the Pen Tool and used that to clip the skull. The initial drawing looks like the one below:

But when selecting the skull object inside the clip shape, its colour can be changed drastically, to stop the design from being blandly obvious. The RGB is edited in an uncommon way, the red is raised a notch and the green is lowered a tiny bit. Below is the Curves Adjustment dialog to see what settings I used to arrive at the end result:

I gave the circular text a somewhat similar treatment as the skull with the Curves Adjustment tool. The text in the end result is the Hoffman font that I duplicated. I edited the duplicate with the Contour tool, so that the end result does not bore observers to death. Best of all is that such an effect can be achieved without using strong beverages or smokeable goods.

I hope some of you find this tip useful. Cheers!

I've always been attracted to Art Nouveau imagery, particularly that of the brilliant Alphonse Mucha, who is largely accredited for starting that appealing type of graphic art. I wanted to wrap my mind around the specific aspects of the craft of which this practice drawing is the first attempt. I plan to do more Art Nouveau all vector drawings in the future, unlike this image that contains both vector and bitmap embedded files. Technically this image is some sort of blend of Art Nouveau and Art Deco, the latter being the successor of the first art movement, I guess.
