  1. Thank you, gotcha. That link is a great resource, however I don't see how to search it?
  2. What are you referring to as CD? So without sounding like a jerk, that doesn't answer my question in any way. I know Illustrator's .AI is proprietary and thus will never be an export option. In this exact case, where I am making a logo or illustration in AD's vector format and no other, what is the most correct reply and file to provide? Most print destinations, heck, most of the industry, uses Illustrator and asks for .AI format. What is the reply and standard file format as a user of only Affinity Designer? That is my question. If AD hopes to be a respected Illustrator alternative used for "serious" work, then there needs to a be clear, concise answer here and thus response for/to the client. See what I mean?
  3. This is very unclear and needs some clarification. If I create a logo or illustration in Affinity and a client specifically requests .AI, then I need to have an clear reply with an absolutely compatible file (.PDG or .EPS) they can use. I can't have a bunch of back-and-forth about it or worse, erroneous results on the client side. What is the clear answer and best file to send to this request?

  5. That's actually not what I'm wanting. I'm wanting the line to be wide at one end and a very sharp point at the tip. Perhaps I should just make a triangle shape?
  6. I'm trying to simply make a tapered line that ends at a sharp point and it's proving oddly difficult. This is where I'm at now after searching, but I still cannot get the tip of the two lines to be sharp. Further, I cannot get the Pressure area to do what I want. I figured I'd be able to just pull all the way down on the lefthand side, but couldn't, so I added a node there and just did the best I could. Here are some pics to help...
  7. So I imported an .svg I made of an image of some text I drew. It imported the whole thing as one group but I do not see the option to "Convert to Curves" or "Ungroup" the group of drawn letters? I'm totally new to this but I can't figure out how to separate the letters so I can them around? Also, there are these red squares and circles that I cannot remove without the line going straight and the handles are missing to fit it? And they do not adjust like the other nodes. Help?
