Fair enough. Though if you can't do anything it's a major problem, as it's not the first time and I'm sure I'm not the only one to whom it happens. I do really hope you'll manage to save it and fix this problem. I would also think it would be quite fair as to offer me the iPad version when it'll be available. Hello I'm rather upset as it is the second time I encounter the same problem with Publisher (the previous was a couple of years ago though). I wouldn't save my document (I don"t remember what reason -silly- it gave me), then the software wouldn't close (it had frozen) and when I tried to open the document again, impossible to couldn't retrieve it. My files : they don't open anymore (many of them) it says (IT:-) ) (You'll find the message attached which translate as such : "Impossible to upload the file. the access to the file has been lost during the initial upload. The file is going to close. " Needless to say that I haven't changed the location of the file nor any of their links. Thank you for helping me out . Best regards, Emilie

Hi, I can't find how to create a transparent background on Designer. I tried the help section but it's blank (I have a french version). Even saving it as a gif I still have the white background. I feel it's obvious but I can't find how to do it. Thank you. Em

Hello, I would like to design a document, sort of a book. I used to work on X.press (a long long time ago), didn't really need it at the indesign time and need it again now. So I thought I'd use designer. I'm not sure I understand the difference in-between a page and an artwork. Also I read in the forum somewhere that you where working on a new software, like Publisher or so, would this one be the one I'd need to use to replace Indesign (the designer being more like Illustrator ? ) I hope I'm being clear enough, Many thanks
