Thank you for your advice i will try that, the biggest problem i also found was that 560 pixels on Affinity is a different size to 560 pixels on Web Plus but i can overcome this, i will try your advice and see what it comes out like.

This may be a silly question but when i have designed and put in writing it looks sharp, when i export in PNG to web plus x 8 and publish the writing is slightly blurry, how can i get around this short of putting in the writing after exporting which defeats the object somewhat of the design package

No Problem i have sussed that bit now i have to sort out the next bit. I am new to the Affinity and the package that came with it, but i am getting there it is a bit different to the serif webplus x 8 i am used to

Thanks for the reply i have tried that but the difference being that in your picture you have a pop up box i dont get that happen when i press align horizontally

I have four boxes that want to space equally apart, i have snapped them into line and cannot find the easiest way to equally space them, i have missed something but cant find an easy method. Help. this is also what i need to do with text boxes and so i need to work out how to equally space objects vertically and horizontally i meant to say this is in Affinity designer

I was hoping to use some of the templates for my web design and put some link buttons on there as well but i bet when i export to my serif web plus x 8 i shall lose the links, but i am sure i shall work it out somehow

Hi i purchased the Affinity designer last week and have also rec a download for the Grade UI Kit but it wont open it just asks me to buy the kit and also comes up with asking me to open with an app Where am i going wrong, i have done all that the tutorial said ie unzip the original download but nothing else happens. it also shows the attached picture then takes me into a page that asks me to buy the product

i think the probs were the padlock i think i have sussed it cheers, at least i knew i was in the right field looking for it

Once i have gone into Affinity Designer and put in my new tab then page size how do i change it if i want to alter the sizes after starting a design

Thank you i will try to find it and have a play i am getting used to this package and hope there are some deals available when my ten day trial is finished. so it makes it worth while me buying it, bearing in mind i only am playing around and keeping my brain active due to retirement being boring.

Thanks for your reply, the jpg and png difference is as i suspected, no probs there as i have had fun playing around with them so far. I can easily work a basic design into my website as i know i will not be using the designer to its max capabilities, but there is far more in there for me than web plus and so a mix of the two is ok. you say logos i was looking to try that but when i did a mock i ended up with a whole page and not just the logo, and so i could not copy it to web plus, how do i just keep the logo so i can copy it over. i must admit i wish i knew more about publishing in other ways other than just web plus. it would be fun to make a short video and be able to show it off
