mitth_raw_nuruodo got a reaction from Ron Broach in Tables across more pages
I will add my voice to tables flowing across multiple pages being an essential feature for an application like this.
Currently working on a table that happens to flow across 10 pages. Every time my fickle overlords ask me to add a row near the beginning, I have to manually move rows across ten pages. Publisher does not offer any convenient alternative workflows for this as well.
It is weird no developer has bothered to address this thread in nearly four years. Very disappointing.

It would be great to be able to have an insert rows after and insert rows before feature. Currently rows are only inserted before the current selected row. This can be a problem if you have a column where a few of the rows are merged but then you want to ad a new row below. With the current function the new row is inserted above the merged cell. I thing it would be better if it's inserted below the merged field.

Each time I need to span a table across multiple pages I google and come up with this (now) four year old discussion. Is this on a roadmap? I have tables that go over a few pages, I can't imagine how people publishing scientific materials or product catalogs are surviving.

I would have thought product catalogues, if not printed reports, are a basic use case for a publishing tool. Your reply might be appropriate if I was asking the tool to generate audiobooks or perform some function unrelated to publishing.

Glinkot is right, its same as with lack of free transform tool in designer ... Such basic usecases...

Recently switched from Illustrator, and this is the feature that I missed immediately.
