  1. I often use Publisher to make changes to existing pdf documents, from simply removing pages to amalgamating documents to editing the content. One issue that I am seeing now, and it was a problem in PP too, is that if I complete an editable pdf document in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (free version) such as a questionnaire and save it as pdf, when I open it in Publisher I cannot see the text I have put in the document. The text is obviously apparent if I open it in Adobe again so must be saved with the document, but is invisible in Publisher. I have attached an example. Is there something I can do to help it appear or can Affinity/Serif modify Publisher to reveal the text? The Adobe document is often a quite small file size too. Any ideas? Example.pdf
  2. Version 1.7.0.192 If I select a right hand page in a side-by-side spread, select the content, cut it and then try to paste it into the selected left hand page of another spread in the same document, it will only paste into the right hand page. I can then move it onto the left-hand page provided I haven't lost the ungrouped selection or there was nothing on the right hand page when I pasted it, but this doesn't seem right. Likewise LH copy only pastes into LH page. I feel I should be able to paste it onto the page I want.
  3. Walt, I agree - and thank you for drawing my attention to the 1.7 beta.
  4. That works for a single document resize, but is hopeless for macro and batch work. This is because when recording the macro it automatically works out the size of one resized single photo at its aspect ratio and then that is the size to which all photos subsequently go and they do not retain aspect ratio. I would like to be able to record a macro to batch resize photos to a given percentage retaining aspect ratio.
  5. Hi. I fell for this too and eventually discovered that it was because I had a grey profile instead of an RGB. Go to Document Setup, Colour Tab and set your Colour Format to RGB. Magic! I think it defaults to Grey.
  6. Input fields are useful, but as someone else said on another thread - it is apparently not possible to set up a macro to resize by a set percentage. I used this a lot in Photoplus to resize photos straight from the SD card to attach to emails, sometimes as a batch job. As I still have Photoplus I revert to that for resizing, but it would be a handy facility in Photo - or a resize (with input of percentage) macro readymade!
