After I posted my problem, I found that in Affinity designer and publisher happens exactly the same problem.

I just upgraded my Mac ( powerbook) to Mojave OS OS10.14.6 . Affinity photo was running very well since 2017. I upgraded the app to 1.9.1 and background or canvas has disappeared. I open a photo ( raw or jpeg) and apparently it opens because I can see it i as a layer and in the inspector. But the picture is not to be seen in the canvas. Canvas is gray.I have reviewed all the settings in the preferences and I can´t fix. I bought the app in the Appstore and I don´t know what to do. Thanks for some help.

WHAT HAPPENED?? I bought Affinity photo (desktop) and I have been very happy. Suddenly the following options ( Apply, Create and Crop mode) disappeared. I don not understand why. I have setup the factory settings and it did´t work. Can you help me please? Thank you. Best regards. Tomás Wilde
